Sangue16 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Megan I am totally confused as to what's going on here, but I'd like to play! Peeptoe heels are my passion... and flexibility: www.Flexines.net

meganiwish Posted September 23, 2012 Author Posted September 23, 2012 Megan I am totally confused as to what's going on here, but I'd like to play! Did you used to play sardines as a kid? Where one would hide and the others had to find, and when they found they got in the hiding place too, till there was one looking? Kind of like that. I go somewhere in the world on the members map and you just have to come and join when you've found me. Some of the chaps seem very good at finding. Just update your location to where I am. I'm somewhere nice at the moment. Hello, Alsheels, we're glad you're back. Have you done your chores at home?
Guest Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Didn't go home but I was in Pevensey yesterday. Been a busy week so I let the location float around in space. Al
meganiwish Posted September 29, 2012 Author Posted September 29, 2012 Michaelmas today, so I typed in an appropriate name. Gosh, I didn't expect to turn up there. (Michelle) Shocked in fact. 'Texas always seemed so big, but you know you're in the largest state in the union...'
meganiwish Posted October 2, 2012 Author Posted October 2, 2012 Ooh, political satire. Hello, Al. I'm impressed you chaps found me as the place doesn't seem to have a name on the map.
meganiwish Posted October 3, 2012 Author Posted October 3, 2012 All right, Al. Is this more challenging? I'm a week late, but testing your English history. I'll be close to home in a fortnight.
meganiwish Posted October 5, 2012 Author Posted October 5, 2012 Well done, Al. So events move on, but still a few days behind.
meganiwish Posted October 6, 2012 Author Posted October 6, 2012 Enfin, il fait du beau temps. We must set sail, mes braves. Allons-y.
Guest Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 (edited) I was there 3 weeks ago Al Edited October 7, 2012 by Alsheels
meganiwish Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 Cooey, Al. We can see you. You're just down the road.
Guest Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I've taken the high ground, come on in for tea (tea shop/cafe outside is closed) Al
meganiwish Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 I think we should show these rosbifs we mean business, cause some, 'ow you say, trouble. Ah, voici un joli hameau.
meganiwish Posted October 10, 2012 Author Posted October 10, 2012 What ho, men! It seems there are some continental chappies causing a bit of a ruckus down south. We'd better go and sort them out, but we'll camp here first. Maybe we can get some reinforcements. I hope it doesn't rain. Hello Tom-NL. You know, I think we might struggle against the Normans with just three of us. Anyone want to join us?
meganiwish Posted October 13, 2012 Author Posted October 13, 2012 I've just come home for the bonfire and fireworks. Big day tomorrow.
meganiwish Posted October 16, 2012 Author Posted October 16, 2012 Well, here we are. Watch out for that chap with the bow. He'll have someone's eye out. You're just yards away, Manluvheels, amongst the Normans. They weren't really running away. It's a trick. Well, after that fracas 956 years ago friendly relations were re-established. Feeling on top of the world (nearly), at the end of the armies. Looking at something amazing.
meganiwish Posted October 16, 2012 Author Posted October 16, 2012 Yes, 946. Do I blame fat fingers or a fat head?
meganiwish Posted October 21, 2012 Author Posted October 21, 2012 With apologies to our French friends, I wanted to commemorate today's anniversary. Look where it sent me! I was expecting to be in Spain.
meganiwish Posted October 31, 2012 Author Posted October 31, 2012 Time to move again. I'm in need of some happy chance. Turns out I could have been in Florida, or Pakistan or Harare, all fine places, I'm sure, but I'm in the original.
meganiwish Posted November 19, 2012 Author Posted November 19, 2012 I've been in one place too long, and I got no serendipity. Anyway, due to be a solar eclipse (or has it happened), and I love the name they have for it here. 'Kerosene lamp, him blong Jesus Christ him bugger up finish altogether.'
meganiwish Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 I hope you don't get bashed on the head and dragged here
meganiwish Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 It's been a while, but can you see where I'm going with this? A big hug and a kiss to anyone who beats me there on Christmas Eve. But no jumping the gun! Well, I suppose you American chaps will have to know when Christmas Eve starts here. I'm nearly on the Greenwich meridian, which is when time starts. About six hours ahead of New York. Hi, Tom N-L, I see you're still with me after all this time.
meganiwish Posted December 23, 2012 Author Posted December 23, 2012 I'm on my way. This place has a name like a collection of poems by Sylvia Plath and Tennyson, I believe.
meganiwish Posted December 24, 2012 Author Posted December 24, 2012 Not one of you beat me. What a bunch of slackers you are! Bah, humbug! Are my hugs and kisses so cheap? All right, $1,000,000(Monopoly) to the first one to join me.
Tom-NL Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Not one of you beat me. What a bunch of slackers you are! Bah, humbug! Are my hugs and kisses so cheap? All right, $1,000,000(Monopoly) to the first one to join me. Sorry, Megan. Christmas is spent with the family (although some of the old-timers here are like family).
meganiwish Posted December 31, 2012 Author Posted December 31, 2012 No worries, Tom N-L. There is a dollar monopoly millionaire though. Anyway, I'd like to have hung around to see the Magi, but they take their own sweet time coming, and all these sheep are becoming tiresome, so I've gone to a place I haven't been to on New Year's Eve in more than thirty years. Those fountains look chilly. How nice to see you, Tom-NL, SleekHeels and ohnoberty.. I've done the traditional thing a bit early, as I don't think I'll be near a computer at midnight.
