Killer Heels, But Why...?

I think the " killer shoes" expression comes from the fact someone would do anything to own those very nice shoes. Even killing the person wearing them to get the shoes. ( Doing so is not a very good idea and it would be illegal. Hoping nobody do this in real life... ) So I guess "Killer shoes" is the opposite of "They are to die for" :unsure:

Very good, excellent, impressive; COOL, AWESOME.

That was killer dude!

An adjective used to describe high quality items.

damn, those are some killer heels.

FLAT SHOES, LIKE FLAT DRINKS, ARE FOR FLAT PEOPLE
