I have also changed more negative thinking minds with my frequent post. It gives me more hope that mankind does have the abilty to judge a person by the person and not what they are wearing. I know many of you are doubtful and with probably good reason. Please understand the structure of this forum, many of the posters react to the original article and respond to it without reading the comments. If you read the original post and follow-ups, you will come to realize people may seem harsh at first but if you keep following this thread people can change their minds if they realize you are the genuine artcle. It really is up to us. Many of the people who voted no initally have changed their minds about guys wearing high heels. I looks like I am really changing people opinions of guys who wear high heels. I have been befriended by some on that forum including one of the moderators. I know that many may be doubtful, but it is really happening. Never look a gift horse in the mouth. Strange saying but it seems to apply. My experience on this forum has shown me that people have the capacity to change if they realize you're not out to threaten them. It's a lesson in hope for humanity. I don't really have time anymore to pursue online proselytization for the community. However, if I was to go back to my old ways of trying to be the Billy Graham for men in heels and layin hands on people and stuff, I'd invest in Twitter. There's exponential power in the retweet, a broader audience, and there's always some new activity it seems when a "men in heels" search is completed. Have you thought about twitter? You could then respond directly to the editor of the Lucky magazine article, draw attention to other editors, other stylists, photographers, designers, marketers, companies, Public Relations people etc. Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game. I like the way you reason it out from a personal point of view, citing comfort for your particular feet and the cure of backache, as well as your fashion preference. There's no reasonable 'you must be gay/perverted/masochistic/narcissistic/transsexual' argument against what you say. I can sympathise with the backache problem. I have no chronic back pain, but if I do a lot of standing or walking around in flat shoes, my back hurts. If I wear heels, my posture changes and I don't get backache. When a forum question is posed on general opinion forums about men wearing high heels this is the perfect opportunity to actually introduce them to guys who wear them. I think I mentioned the following in that forum. I would rather people judge the realty of men who wear high heels rather than their own preconcieved ideas. I personally have never heard of Sodahead before so I'm likely to question the results. Correct me if this is a false impression. Now where we could get a broader section of the public on something like a GMA or CNN poll, I'd be a bit more likely to believe the results. Hey - - don't get me wrong.
