halloween related....how the hell do you guys do it?

so its no surprise im a heel fan but not much of a heeler myself. see this link for my past regarding heels.

then i bring you halloween and my insane wife

she cant wear them.....so she made me wear 8 inch heels for halloween

she bought and made me wear these

If my wife bought me those and 'made' me wear them in public I would be one very willing happy man. I assume you were in fancy dress, strange how suddenly acceptable it is for am man to wear all sorts of sexy feminine things if they are in fancy dress. I have even known women to have a go at men who don't have the guts to participate in a fancy dress where all the men have to cross dress and those that do participate go up in the womens estimation. I was encouraged by a work mate to cross dress for our next work charity day the other day, I joked with her about extreme high heels and she said oh I'd love to see you in high heels and amini skirt, the temptation to say welll actually....... The other strange thing is the Rocky Horror Picture Show, nobody would bat an eyelid if I turned up in a basque, stockings and extreme high heels.

You need to work up to that height gradually.

Dr,Shoe What would he be working towards? Those were 8" heels w/ A 4" platform. That translates to the same as walking on a 4" heel, on a single sole shoe . I am sitting here typing this in a pair of 7" high heels on a single sole shoe. For a man you can't get much lower, if you want to consider he is wearing high heels. Mike

There is a difference between a 4" single sole and an 8" platform. You have to be a bit more careful. As for me, I'll take the 8" platform as I doubt I'll ever be successful at your 7" single sole heels. I can hear years of abuse crunching in my ankles at that point.

I would have preferred a sandal strap just to help keep the heel in place. Mine seem to drift a bit depending on the shoe.

You need to get some practice time in a bit before the main event.

I'd loved to wear them, if we only celebrated Halloween that way here in Sweden...

Nevertheless, bought these great shoes http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_tSH9pZD9bek/SNw_If_qlGI/AAAAAAAAGA8/aD5dso3HHhg/s400/exotic+pole+dancing+platform+stilettos+pink+1.jpg; tried them out immediately as they arrived yesterday (pictures coming up) and found them reasonably easy to walk in, as long as you keep them vertical (and don't trip on the platform )
