Magickman Posted February 15, 2010 Share Posted February 15, 2010 Saturday night found me on Valentine's eve, without a date. So, I got cleaned up, and decided to head out to a singles dance party. Grabbed a pair of Nine West, 4" stiletto heel ankle boots, and hit the road. Contrary to the worry warts, nobody bothered to beat me up. In fact, once I was inside the ballroom, an attractive woman walked up to me, and said, "You are looking very nice tonite." Of course, then, I asked her to dance. Twisting and turning, spinning around, high energy stiletto dancing. She was one of several women I danced with that night, and none of them complained about my stiletto boots. You high heel loving single guys out there might discover that many women are very accepting of a high heeled man. I rarely get negative female feedback, myself. Heel-Lover Posted February 16, 2010 Share Posted February 16, 2010 Hi folks, Dancing and socialising in a pair of stilettos is fun, and they're not that hard to spend an evening in. My personal record would be 8hrs in stiletto slingback highs (approx 6.5in heel no platform). I always wear around 6 inch heels, sometimes 7inch for special occasions - but if I'm having a few drinkies then I need to chop that extra height off. Not really for the obvious reasons, but mostly because I'm not the type that dances (when I do, people usually get injured..lol).. And stilettos aren't quite my style... I would like to give stilettos a try in public sometime though..I have been thinking about it lately... Never frown because you never know who is falling in love with your smile. k6ps Posted February 20, 2010 Share Posted February 20, 2010 Hi, I'm a latino dance fan (salsa, bachata, etc.) and done that on heels too. 2,5-4'', but cuban & block heels, not stilettos so far. And only with my wife This is very fun and certainly contributes to high feelings. Thighbootguy Posted February 20, 2010 Share Posted February 20, 2010 My not dancing in stilettos has nothing to do with heels, rather it’s my inability to stylistically coordinate my bodies movement in the rhythmic fashion suggested by the music. This thread reminded me of how much I LOVE going dancing in heels. It was a slow Saturday night and not really as much fun as I have had in the past, but it was still wonderful to strut the dance floor in heels... Style is built from the ground up!
