kikepa Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I've always loved this style, ever since I tried on a pair belonging to a neighborhood girl who used to babysit me. What do you think about this style? Those who really care about us don't make a fuss about what we wear. Those who make a fuss about what we wear really don't care about us.
johnieheel Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I have a pair just like them from DELICIOUS and wife has a pair of ankle boots she wears most the time, same style. Love em! real men wear heels
ILuvHeels Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I've always loved that style! I'm wearing oxfords in my avatar
secondtake20 Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I love the style. I had a pair but they were too narrow. I have been looking for another pair.
r1g0r Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 i have a similar pair, and wear them when possible at work. they are a little snug, but i love 'em! society has decided that men will be confined to certain items of clothing, and certain modes of presentation. until we rebel PERSONALLY against this, we are diminished!
HappyFeat Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I love high heeled oxfords and have a couple of pair myself. I kick myself all the time because a few years ago, I sold two really cool pair on eBay that I do miss all the time... I also love the babysitter memory...even as children we were scouting shoes for the future! Style is built from the ground up!
euchrid Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 What do you think about this style? I like them too. I have a fond memory of two girls who wore shoes like this to secondary school. One wore a black pair & her friend wore a matching brown pair. I was sooooo jealous of them. I will have to get myself a pair this year, I think. Always High-Heel Responsibly
tallguyinheels Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 like my avatar - I wear all the time - its was nice to see I was ahead of the style curve when I started with these 4 years ago. At DSW the other day, there was no less that 20 styles of the high heeled oxford variations.
Dawn HH Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 My Mom wore oxfords with a 1.5" heel all of her life. This kind of turned me off of them and I preferred the high heel pumps instead. O.K.---so I'm odd man out. So be it. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
Elegant Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I love this style: http://www.amazon.com/AK-Anne-Klein-Womens-Aroma/dp/B001BNSUNY/ref=pd_sbs_shoe_4/177-8916310-2771202 - they could go well with a tailcoat or tuxedo. What is good for a goose, can be good for any gender!

Thighbooter Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I too love the style. I bought a pair from a local department store last year, I think the company that made them was Bongo or some such thing. They were pretty cheap, on sale, but are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time and fit so well that I can wear them while cleaning the house and other activities. Amazing considering the 4" heel.
