Donna, you are a complete star, these boots are a challenge, and on your vid you make them look easy. Ben, I know what you mean about your ankle locking out. I think that my ankles are 'over the top' in these boots, and any slight downhill bits are proving a real challenge. Must keep practicing

Roz, you are a real credit to this forum. There are not enough girls out there that just wear extreme heels because they enjoy it. I've fallen off my ballets, my 8" and 12" platforms. It's part of the fun. I hope that you are ok, and trust that you will continue to brighten our days with your exploits BB

I've just bought a pair of Deranged 7" heeled ankle boots from Hollywood Heels, and I'm doing ok with them. Got to be careful outside with them at the moment, because they are really stretching my ankles, and I don't want to go over, but that's part of the fun of wearing the extremes, it's the possibility that you might.

With girls - I like a girl in tight jeans with her boots over the top. If I'm wandering around the garden, I tend to wander around with my ballets under my jeans, so its not as obvious if I'm seen. The fact that my feet have disappeared seems to have been missed by the neighbours.

Hi Roz, have you had your 12"ers on recently? I appreciate your comment about Pleasers being easy to walk in, but knowing your ability with ordinary high heels, i would think that you should be able to 'rise' to the challenge. BB
-
Come on Roz, admit it, you enjoy the challenge of wearing these extreme shoes. I know you can't go out in them, but that's not the point is it, BB

Hi Donna, well I finally tracked a pair down in the UK. I must have slightly larger feet than you, because mine have 7" heels. I just need to have a little practice. At the moment its quite small steps, but I have been out in the garden in them. They're great.
-
Pata, only you can do ballets like you do. I like mine, but all the videos on your lovely website certainly give me the resolution to keep practicing. You look lovely.
-
I'd go for a pair of ankle boots for starters. You will find that unless you are very gifted like Pata, you will need some ankle support. I would also suggest something that you can lace yourself into for foot support. You need to look for some toe pads as well. There's plenty of info kicking around the forum.

Well worth a look. I just can't manage in ballets unless I have ankle support, but wouldn't be without them

Roz, thank you for your updates. I think the Pleaser 8" heel range are great. I have a pair of the ankle boots, and I agree that you can walk around in them for hours. I took my 12" heel boots for a walk around the garden this weekend, as you claim the paved flags are not perfectly laid and it is amazing how this effect is amplified on your ankles, causing the odd wobble. I think heelma has a good point in that it is the thrill of the potential wobble that makes them so worth wearing. I have some very long jeans to cover up my ballets and high platforms. The fact that I am suddenly taller than the fence and the garage is a cause for amusement. Your angel outfit sounded wonderful.

Hi Roz, I really like the golden shoes - very classy, but they have a very steep arch on them, so its no surprise they are hard to walk in. The Karos shoes will just take practice - I can just about manage mine. The 12" sandals are beautiful. It's no wonder you fall off them, as there must be no support at the back of the shoe, but I expect you'll love them when you master them, and keep them. You'll need a new shelf in the closet.

Hi roz, I've got some of the Karo 0992 9 inch heeled / 2" platformed shoes, and they are some of the hardest shoes I've got for walking in. My ballets are a lot easier - but the Karo's are fun
-
Come on Roz, how are things going with your 12" heeled shoes. I'm sure there are plenty of us waiting for some more news, BB2000

As ever, your feet and legs look wonderful in the heels. I liked the original as it was cute and amusing, but now it makes sense, it is still a great photo, BB
-
Hi Donna, the boots look great, as ever you can walk beautifully in them. Looks like I might have to get a pair myself. BB
-
SarahLou, if you try a size larger, and put a gel cushion under your foot, you will find a bit more room in the toebox, and its a lot more comfortable. I do it for my extreme heels, it works for me, BB

Hi Roz, it's nice to find a girl who appreciates high platforms. I hope you enjoy the forum. There's quite a variety of characters here. BB

Roz, try having a look here

They have some great 50 cm heeled boots that I'm thinking about,
see what you think

The ballets look really interesting - wouldn't mind trying to walk in those

A great looking pair of boots
-
For me its knee high boots, heel style can be block heel, stilleto, or ballet
-
I went for a walk around the garden last weekend in my thigh length ballets after 6 inches of snow, just to leave those tell tale footprints in the snow. It was fun in a precarious sort of way.

I've just managed to track down some Deranged ankle boots by Hollywood Heels, here in the UK. The 7" heels are proving somewhat of a challenge on the ankles, but practice is helping with these boots. It's the flexibility required to be able to properly straighten your legs out that's proving fun
