Sorry Teeza, don't know of any specific German high heel specialists who make very high heeled boots
-
I have a copy of the magazine, and it is a great article. Unfortunately, I can't find anything of an update as to whether she made her trip or not.
-
Well I've finally done a quick video of me skating outdoors in my 6 inch heeled roller ankle boots. As I have said in the past, they are great fun, and keeping your balance is a challenge
-
They are surprisingly easy to walk in, as you have a lot of support for your foot in the ankle boot, your toes are not being squashed, and there is quite a broad heel at the back to prevent wobbles

Another great ballet photo from our ballet mistress

After seeing a picture of an American girl called Connie Phares from the 40's, (Life Magazine 11th Nov 1946) who could skates on her tip toe skates, I had a go at attaching my Femme ballet ankle boots to some skates, and the results were extremely unstable, but great fun

Give it a go, but make sure that you've got something soft to land on

I've got some of the ankle boot ones, had them for years, love them to bits

With the extreme heels and the skates, the fun comes from trying to keep balance. There is a limit due to the ceilings in the house, and my wishes not to hurt myself. As the house is small, the rooms do not allow the camera to be far enough away for a full view. And I don't want to upset anyone, as the last link I posted was removed for being too fetishy, which I apologise for. BB2000

Hi folks,
well I've tried to bring together quite a few of my ideas, and the result is it's potentially lethal, but great fun, when it goes wrong, it happens extremely fast, and you hit the floor.
However, the link below sees me in my 4 inch heeled Bronx knee boots, on top of some 15 inch stilts, fitted with skates, giving me a total heel lift of over 20 inches,
I hope you approve,

It's a pity that they are creased, because they look superb on your feet.

Hi Teeza, they look absolutely great, and a great challenge. I would love to have try in those beautiful boots. BB

Here is another link to another high heeled skating moment,
this time on my 12" heeled thighboots

Hi Gary, the ankle boots came from the now defunct Barratts. They are quite comfy. BB

Well folks here is a link to a little clip of me in my 6" heeled ankle booted roller skates

If you go on Pata's website (yes you have to pay) there is a video of her riding a bike in ballet boots. As is usual for Pata, she makes it look easy.

TD, you are a very lucky man to have such a caring soulmate, and small feet
-
I've just fitted some new wheels and bearings to my high wheels ankle boots. This is a completely new sensation, the old bearings must have been very tired. I'm like Bambi on ice. Looks like I need to get in a lot of practice indoors, before I venture out around the local countryside carpark.

HH, you've just got to bite the bullet and give it a go. But it is completely different walking in ballets than wearing extreme heels. All your practice will help, but walking on your toes is completely different to walking on the balls of your feet. I wish you well
-
Hi Scot, you are doing really well in those heels. I have 2 pairs of extreme Hollywood heels, and I can vouch that they are not the easiest things to get around in. Well done
-
I agree, I tried it a couple of times, with a manual transmission, when the roads were quiet. It's not something to be recommended as said throughout this link, as being able to hit the brakes in an emergency, is a priority. I don't think the Police or the insurance people would take kindly to it. Mind you, as the good Doctor said, it was one hell of a buzz.
-
Hi Vector, you would be surprised how stable it is, and with high enough ceilings, or around the garden at night, how easy they are to walk in. BB

Could you walk in this?
in Ultra High Heels

Here is a link to me having a quick stagger in the garden in my Karos 0992 platform ballet sandals with their 9 inch heels.
My response to the survey - definitely YES
