  1. I've been wearing heeled sandals all my life (mostly wedges as seen on http://highluc.net )and if you look you can find some which aren't too outrageous and also can be worn with shorts. They are just another form of shoes so where is the problem.

  2. There are no well defined lines in that spectrum, most of us are not on a well defined spot but cover a broad range on the spectrum according to mood or time of day. In turn, that range bracket can shift up and own according to age, confidence and social. Just ride the continuum as you feel and don't try to attempt to put yourself in any socially created single well defined box.

  3. Hey Bert, history tells us in other civilisations more genders were accepted, like for example the Berdaches with the US indians, the Hirious in India and the Mauru (I think) with the Hawaians. Most of these traditional life forms were banned when the Christians started dominating other civilisations. There are more examples and anyone interested can mail me for more correct details after I get time to look this up.

  4. Your diaries always have been something to look forward to. The mix of interesting shoe topics with real life happenings is what most heel addicts are looking for on such a board. O know people are interested in such a thing because although lately I didn't add any fictuous stories on my website http://www.highluc.net I still have thousend of visitors every month who read my continuous illustrated diary. Please keep us informed Laurie.

  5. My dad also was (and maybe still is) interested in heels. 30 years ago I even caught him in heeled sandals when I got home unexpectly. My mother knew and tolerated without approving or understanding. At least she admits the facts, my dad denies and tells me to behave like a man. Strange situation, maybe it's a bit in the genes but I don't really care. I don't deny it and am happy living in my heels.

  6. , once I get my knees under the steering wheel

The best car in that respect is a Lexus GS or LS, because the steering wheel raises and lowers electrically when the key is engaged or removed on the steering column, allowing very easy access even if you wear platforms, heels or very tight skirts. Having (very smooth) automatic gearshift and cruise control also is ideal for driving effortless in any heels not damaging the back of your delicate suede shoes or boots. The only drawback of that car is the price (although excelent value for money) and the space it needs to park in a spot.
  7. If you wear them with stockings, beware you don't lose them. You better practice that combination for a while because if they are lined with leather or something slippery you might be surprized. Good luck and have fun.

  8. What are you staring at, the girls or the boots? If it are the boots, age shouldn't matter If it are the girls and they are of age, there is no problem either. Just enjoy the beauty in life but don't forget you got some teaching to do as well. Just a bit more courage, summer is coming up and their boots will be stocked till next winter soon.

  9. You are not the first one asking me to continue on my stories and I really would like to but for the moment I am much too busy. I have a few drafts of new stories ready and hopefuly will finnish the other ones soon. The inspiration has to also be there but for the moment my stress level is still too high for relaxed writing. Sorry and be patient just a bit longer, bye, Hiluc

  10. Arno, what did you expect, they are podiatrics and not shoe retailers but at least I was happy they were honest and admitted heels could be (part of) the solution. Any reference to benefits from heels by professionals will help us fight the majority of detractors who advocate flats as the only healthy wear, whatever gender.

  11. Belgium or heaven? Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Heaven, God went missing for six days. Eventually, Michael the archangel found him on the seventh day, resting. He inquired of God, "Where have you been?" God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction and proudly pointed downwards through the clouds : "Look Michael, look what I've made." Archangel Michael looked puzzled and said, "What is it?" "It's a planet," replied God raving, "and I've put LIFE on it. I'm going to call it Earth and it's going to be a great place of balance." "Balance?" inquired Michael, still confused. God explained, pointing to different parts of Earth, "For example, North America will be a place of great opportunity and wealth while South America is going to be poor; the Middle East over there will be a hot spot and Russia will be a cold pot. Over there I've placed a continent of white people and over there is a continent of black people," God continued, pointing to different countries. "This one will be extremely hot and arid while this one will be very cold and covered in ice. I'll have lush forests over there and deserts down there" The Archangel, impressed by God's work, then pointed to a small landmass and said "What's that one?" "Ah," said God. "I'm Glad you asked. That's Belgium! The most glorious place on Earth. There are beautiful lakes, rivers, streams and hills. The people from Belgium are going to be modest, intelligent and humorous and they're going to be found travelling the world. They'll be extremely sociable, hard-working and high-achieving, and they will be known throughout the world as diplomats and carriers of peace. Best of all i'm giving them the very best of food and drinks" Michael gasped in wonder and admiration but then proclaimed, "What about balance, God? You said there will be balance!" God replied with a cheeky grin "Wait until you see the ones I'm putting next to them in Holland."
