  1. I taped this too when it was aired in Oct 2002 on German TV (SAT.1). I made it an MPEG1 and it takes 90MB of disk space. Too large to store it on the web. If someone could tell me a good tool to make it MPEG4 then I'd like to post it somewhere. I originally planned to add some English subtitles to it because it's entirely in German (of course). 2. I always envy the guys who go out in public in this kinda obvious female footwear, because I don't have the guts (yet). I'm more comfortable with the chunkier closed-shoe-type styles. I haven't been out in public with stiletto heels yet except when I tried on some 4.5" pointy-toe knee-high stretch boots in a shoe store and >> 'got caught' by other customers (2nd post in the thread). Anyway, nice shoes, loveheel!

  3. Mickey S.:-)

It sure sounds like you have made some great progress in purchasing your jeans. Now you will know where to go to and who to see when you next need some. Cheers---

Yes, you're right. But I want to see where else I can push the limits a bit. So, I might not stick with that particular store only.

  4. Dawn HH, I thought so too in the first place but if she would have been annoyed/disgusted/amused by seeing me in heels I think she would have reacted quite differently. At least I noticed that she obviously didn't have an issue with this. And this was the point. Okay, one could object those folks are trained personnel and they would do/say anything to make you buy stuff, of course. Anyway, I think you still can tell if they are positive or negative about what they are seeing. CU! -Mike

  5. Thought I'd contributed to that topic already. Wrong. So, 'kay, here it comes: I got 182 + 3 (the latter 3 are on their way to me) pairs. These are regular pumps from 4"..8" heels w/ no platform, platform shoes and boots (where the boots are amongst ankle, calf, knee-high, just overknees and thigh-high ones) with 1"..8" platform and up to 12" heels and 3 pairs of ballet-type shoes (ankle boots, 2x thigh high boots). So, I'm sort of equipped. If there wasn't always new styles that's interesting and tempting to spend some money on... CU! -Mike

  6. ... Finally, this week I needed some boot fit jeans, and clearly there was no point doing this without having the shoes on to match the fit to. So it was on with the trusty 3" Pods again and down to Gap who have an extensive range of boot-fit and slight flares right now (at a price!). There I spent a lot of time getting the right size, fit and length - trying some 5-6 pairs on. Two assistants alternated help and it couldn't have been clearer that I was trying to get the jeans just right to go with the heels although I admit they are very 'safe-looking'. My parting comment was 'now ready for some more adventurous footwear'...

I did this too. I impishly asked the assistant if the pair of trousers I finally took would go well along with my 5" blade heel boots I wore at the moment I watched myself in the mirror. She was like: 'Yeh, looks cool, ... why shouldn't you be wearing heels...' - :) - Okay, I could live with that...

  7. Oh I don't know dawn - maybe that is too pessimisitic and even a bit of of turn-off for keen young budding streetheelers. I was only twelve years old when I went started streetheeling in my Mother's shoes. I am now just turned 59 and it still gives me a HELL of a buzz!!! In my case the excitement has never lessened - heaven forbid that it should!

    Cheerfully yours, Heelfan.

    Heelfan,

your posting has been made quite a while ago but I came across it but now. You said that you started street heeling in your mom's shoes. Didn't she object a) regarding your age and  because it was her shoes? Very liberal! What did your class-mates say in case they saw you doing that stuff?

  8. @GrayLion: I'm EU43 or US Ladies 12/13. All shoes on the pics are in that size except the knee high boots (bottom row) and the platform loafers with the buckle; these are EU41. Fortunately, they fit quite well, though. CU! -Mike

  9. @gary0618:

I love the platform shoes with the buckles that you are wearing with the denim skirt. I would wear them with wide flared jeans.

    I did! Felt damn good...

I got them from a local department store which unfortunately doesn't exist anymore. Besides that I haven't seen them anywhere else. The boots on the bottom row of my initial posting are somewhat similar regarding the base of the shoe. But I got them from a guy from Belgium. I've no idea where he got it from. I need to check the shoes' brand...

    @dheel:

The only source I could find right now is a German eBay-Shop: http://stores.ebay.de/Mary-Moral-Shoes_W0QQsspagenameZl2QQtZkm You might need to poke around a bit in order to find the shoes. But there should be a lot more web stores in the US to get them from. These shoes have true 7.5" (19cm) heels but they are somehow easier to handle than 'regular' 7" pumps.

  10. Wow, that sounds really serious! But: 1. Kitty, if I may ask, why are you so upset? What else did he do 'besides' posting private pictures of you? In case you didn't want that I can see your point. But as far as I remember I haven't seen any obnoxious stuff. You're probably not gonna answer this but it could help to understand even more... 2. I'm also annoyed by always referring to f**k-me-pumps or being a 'pro' when the shoes' heels exceed a certain height. Most of the high-heel-wearer use these shoes because they just love them and the feeling wearing it! -- Okay, if it really goes that far that someone's fantasy takes control and lets him reveal very private things against the other one's expressed permission then this would be a complete different story and I'm on your side, Kitty. Thoroughly reading your last post it almost makes me entirely believing you... But if this is just a 'flame' don't come back here and leave us alone! CU! -Mike

  11. I must second that. After installation Linux comes with way more restrictions what one can do and what one can't. For Windows (XP even worse than 2k) you have to search your ass off in order to find some useful, efficient info on how to tighten security. Once you quest the Windows' help system you keep getting entry-level-user info. Once you inquire for the more in-depth stuff/terms it just doesn't find any. There's probably an option where to obtain this info and how to install it - but who knows, that might cost you something. The main thing here might just be: Most colorful and easy-click'n'execute. Obviously, they forgot to make it safe over all that fancy stuff... Forget about GUIs when done that way - long live the command-console-screen where you're required to think before you act!!!

  12. Okay, my turn. I'm into: o my sweet girlfriend o high heels; nylons; skirts; long polished nails; leather-, patent- and latex clothing o computer (building, configuring, repairing) o TV sets (repairing) and audio power amplifiers (designing, building, repairing) o watching movies (want to have a small movie theater in my house's basement at some time (selfmade, of course)) CU! -Mike

  13. Folks, I said in another posting that I'm at the gym like 6x a week. This is because I'm also sometimes not really quite in control of what I eat. So I have to compensate for. Once I was in a similar situation and lost real 14 kg in 9 months. I went down from 86 kg to 72kg. I'm 5'10" so 72..76kg would be okay. Unfortunately, self control lasted only for a little less than 2 years. Now I'm at 90kg which is really bad. I went up to that gradually again over the past 6 years. Now I have to get back to what I did when I went down from 86kg to 72kg: I ate some special sort of 'black' bred, very low fat butter, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, reddishes and canned tuna fish. Especially one has to pay attention not to eat fat stuff in the evening like within less than 3 hrs before one goes to bed. Otherwise this is gonna add weight immediately because it's not used anymore and therefore converted into fat to get it into the body's special 'storage-cells' and out of the blood. To get it back out of those 'storage-cells' is very hard since this is the place of the 'core reserve' in case you don't have anything to eat over longer periods. The body's fat is only used after your primary energy (blood sugar) was used up. Doing some sports this happens not before you went exercising for at least 30 minutes (of course, you'll lose some weight during that time but this is only water that you sweat out). Anything less than that doesn't tackles the fat. If you want to run, run for an hour, if you workout, take the 1..1.5 hour course. Just lifting some weights or getting the rubbish out occasionally or fetching mail doesn't do the job although it's okay that you do at least something. But in order to reduce weight you got to get for it harder. You may object but this is my experience. CU! -Mike

  14. JinxieKat, I'm at the gym 6 times a week: 3x aerobics, 1x tae bo, 1x body shaping and 1x Karate. Furthermore, the following conditions must be met in order to get good pictures: o I must shoot them in the morning after I had slept enough, o I must wear nylons and at least (it's a must of course) o I must have put on my high heels. When I'm standing flat it doesn't look that nice anymore to me... CU! -Mike

  15. Mickey, I take a U.K. size 8, and I think it is quite possible in that size to get a 'true' 7" heel. ... Be sure that I shall publicise the fact as soon as I get past the 'walking about the house' stage!

    Anne_Louise,

    Thanks for this information.

I was asking because I made the experience that there is always a 'gap' in the range of heel heights in my size because when I ordered shoes with a certain heel height I rarely got the specified height. Either they came lower than 'announced' or they were even taller (not bad actually, but when you got the same shoe twice due to this, it isn't that interesting anymore). Meaning, it's difficult for me to get real 6" in my size. I either get only 5..5.5" or 7"+ for example. On the other hand, some felt already lucky to possess real 7" heels which turned out to be only 6" when measured what they didn't do before I had them to. This actually made me curious about your 7". But when you say you made sure then I believe you. -- Keep us posted on your progress fighting the 7" (pics?)!

    CU!

    -Mike

  16. Anne_Louise, you say "...Next autumn or winter it will definitely be 7"...". May sound stupid, but do you really mean 7" and not just 7"-type-heels that come in 6" for size 6 (I'm not sure right now what size you are) and only for size 12+ in real 7"? If it's the real 7" you go for then: WOW, I'm impressed!!! CU! -Mike

  17. Counting from top left (starting there w/ #1 - and #2 being the non-platform courts (5.5") for example) I went outdoors with #7 and #(8,9) already. Of course, I wore long flared jeans that covered most of the actual shoe. But I didn't bother to get up the 'regular' stairs (most of the times you got those escalators there) when I was at the movies once (I wore the boots #(8,9) back then). So, getting up them stairs the legs of the trousers slid up a bit and revealed the heels. Anyway, huge crowd, no comments. During the movie I sat next to two chicks who wore some serious platform-heeled shoes themselves. They stole a glance but didn't make any comments either but I'm sure they noticed... CU! -Mike
