  1. Hi Dawn HH!

Nice to read you liked it! To add to the 'got almost caught'-thing: Something similar happened some years later. But then with my own heels. At that time I was about to enjoy a pair of 3.5" front laced ankle boots (somehow 'high' for me back then). I wore white thigh high stockings w/ matching suspenders and had the boots firmly tied to my ankles (no chance to get them off in just a few seconds) when I noticed mum came home. And I was about to... PANIC!!!:):D The only thing I felt was my heart stopped beating. But somehow I managed to calm down and I thought to myself, okay, that was it, no more excuses - so I just waited to be discovered high-heeled, nyloned and embarrassed... But, funny, she didn't come see me (what she normally always did back then when she came home for lunch) but left and went back to work. :o Later that day in the evening I found out why: Before I got 'dressed up' I went into the basement to look for something. When returning I forgot to remove the door key from the lock on the outside. Mum assumed I was still downstairs and didn't look for me in my room...

The second time a similar thing. I wore black panties, 4" pumps and a skirt about knee-length. Suddenly I noticed dad comming home and again I was... PANIC!!! :o:shocked::shocked: I tried to hide all the other garments that I put around the floor to choose from, laid down on the sofa and used a blanket to hide my wardrobe ('coz again I couldn't get the stuff off real quick) pretenting I was reading but dad just left. :o History's repeating! In the evening he told me he forgot his wallet... Damn! Almost died from a heart-attack the second time just because he was a bit sloppy managing his stuff in the morning...

I must add I didn't really like those times when my parents were working near the place where we used to live because it took them only 5..10min to come home. And they did...

  2. Anne_Louise, Congratulations on your success! I do understand your excitement! I wish I could do the same. People probably look at you like 'Wow, that's amazing!'. If I would do that just for the same feelings and excitement that you have I would be ridiculed. But, anyway, people might only be made a bit more sensitive to the topic that it is all about the shoes themselves and the wearing of them. -- Hopefully I got this across not being a native-Englishman. CU! -Mike

  3. I've got the ballet 3000 - as I mentioned somewhere else around here - and the patent leather ankle boots w/ the padlocks from devious. They are very solid and I really doubt if I could ever break them except with some kind of sledge-hammer. I also got the front lace black leather thigh high ballet boots 'Justine' from Punitive. They're very well made too! - Needless to say, I'm having fun with those... CU! -Mike

  4. @Anita C. In your initial post you wrote that wearing your new ballets for a while made you feel more comfortable w/ your 5.5" stilettos. I second that. I was having less problems w/ my +7" pumps after some ballet sessions. BTW, I do love your tales from the stories-section... CU! -Mike

  5. Hopefully we don't get caught by some type of 'Candit Camera' only to find ourselves again on the big screen later on w/ the whole world watching... CU! -Mike

  6. Its all a matter of attitude - I wear them with confidence and they are not an issue to others - they are for me and if someone else admires them, great. If they don't - to h**l with them. Vern

    Vern,

what type of shoes do you exactly wear? Curious...

  7. When did I start? Uhm, must have been very early. My mum said that I kinda had a big crush on her red boots when I was at the age of 2 or 3 or so. But back then I don't think I did this for the same reason as of today. Several years later, at the age of 8 or 9, we (the family) were sent a parcel from the (former) West Germany (I grew up in East Germany) from my fathers sister. My brother and I we both were primarily more interested in the chocolate that usually came along in that kind of parcels. I didn't think of anything particular that would be in there. But then - it hit me point blank - We unpacked an awesome looking pair of red knee high suede boots with (lemme guess) 3" chunky heels (typical for the late 70s). The next three hours until everybody (but me) went to bed was the longest hours ever since because I was eager to try those boots on. Lucky me, that same evening I had the chance to do so and they felt so good. Some days later the boots were gone. I was searching for them all over our place but my parents must have discarded or have done a good job hiding them. I'm sure it wasn't because of me wearing them because back then I was also very advanced in electronics for my age already and had the room secured w/ an alarm system. So I would have noticed when they'd entered the room. After trying on the boots I put them back in the parcel the way I found them. Anyway like I said the boots were gone three days after we got them. But this experience (somehow re-) triggered my big crush on high heels. One or two years after that I found a pair of very beautiful looking white patent sling-back pumps in my mom's shoe-closet. I organized myself a pantyhose (not yet knowing that a pair of stay-up stockings would give a much better feeling back then) and tried those sling-backs. Wow, what an awesome feeling! My legs looked cool in this 'nylon-wrapping' and the feet were marvellously bent to match the high-heeled-shoe's shape. That night I almost got caught because I didn't notice that my parents found that I wasn't in my bed and started looking after me. Some month ago before that time I had to remove the alarm system since my parents didn't like the cables anymore that were visible at some spots. So I didn't notice that a search was in progress. For some reason they searched the room I was in last so I had the chance to 'undress' but couldn't get the shoes back into the closet so I had to leave them in a corner of that particular room. It was the time of the anual 'school's out for summer' so I had the chance to get up before my brother (we used to share a common room) and put the shoes back. I managed to do so but my grandma asked me what was the story about the 'shoes'. Ooops! She must have found them before I was able to put them back. Since I'd put them away already I played possum and said 'What shoes?' prentending wonderment. Luckily I got away with this and no further questions asked. But by then I knew that I was somehow addicted. And it lasts till today... CU! -Mike

  8. Wow, that looks cool. I guess the heels in the topmost pic won't draw much attention at all. I personally like them but I do like the shoes on the middle pic even a bit more. I'd say - although the shoes are quite cool as well - that the purple color on the 3rd pic is somehow eyecatching. Anyway, I'd like to know what comments you've encountered after you've tried them in 'real' puplic or in case you've actually done it already, what did 'they' say? CU! -Mike

  9. As I drove to work today I had to stop on virtually every stop light (I guess that's why they're called that way, huh?). Even the last one before I reached the company just turned red as I approached. I was about to freak out. But then - I couldn't almost believe it - amongst the crowd crossing the street a slender woman in classy attire with long black hair AND 5"+ heels plus black panty-hose or stockings (you couldn't tell). She walked in those shoes as if it was nothing. Awesome! Okay, for me 5" aren't that much of a challange but for here tiny feet (I guess I'd have to wear some 17cm or so to accomplish a similar effect) - wow!!! She seemed to know what whe was doing since the footwear she wore wasn't that sort of stuff you get from the discounter next door. What a ray of sunlight on this grey 'n' rainy Tuesday morning. 5"+ stiletto-heels 'in the wild' aren't so common around here. Even platform shoes stop at 4", very rarely at 5.25", or so. Anyway, I wished there was a stop light for her to turn red. Unfortunately, she disappeared in the midst of tthe crowd when she'd crossed the street. I'll never again say something against red stop-lights. ;o) -- I almost missed the 'Green'... CU! -Mike

  10. Folks, it just happened to me. I had some spare minutes, noone around and I felt like it's about time for thigh high ballet boots. A minute later or so I found my legs wrapped in these beatiful stretch patent boots. I got up and walked around a bit. But, wait a minute, usually it takes me some cycles of sit-down-and-get-up to be able to walk around. Obviously I made some progress. -- A couple of days ago I did something similar in my ballets but I had to sit and stand alternatively for some times until standing and walking worked for me. But that time I extended my 'stand'-phase to approx. 1 hour doing this and that, flipping through pages of some books from my shelf that I'd never reached w/o these heels unless I'd used a chair. ;o) Once I had enough I spent the most of the rest of the day sitting and reading but wearing my ballets. But today it was different. As mentioned above already I didn't have to do the warm up phase and could directly go for some steps. And I maneuvered around quite well. Then I felt like it was time for some lower heels as I put on my 5" inch knee high blade heel boots. Woah! I couldn't almost believe it! It was like if the heel was cut in half at least. Thinking about that I came across the idea what my 7" (actually 18cm) heels would feel like. I got them out of the corner put them on and :D suddenly I was able to take some steps in them as well. I could straighten my knees (somehow I find that it's easier to control ballet boots than extremely high heeled 'regular shaped' pumps)!!! I'd never thought that it would once become possible. Stepping down from the ballet heels the 7" felt just about right. I used this effect until my muscles didn't want to give support anymore. I'm right now wearing my 6" (15cm) heels w/ no problems - as if they were flats. Did that happen to one/some of you as well? All the time there are advices on how to get used to ballets practicing in super-high heels beforehand! This time ballets were used to manage 7" heels. That's odd. Anyway, I'm kinda happy about this progress!!! :) CU! -Mike

  11. I think the biggest hope would be the music industry. Mostly new trends are set by popular artists.

Long hair, earrings, piercings, the baggy pants and cap.. All things at first seen with artists in video's which then became more or less mainstream fashion.

Your post's been done a while ago already but I just read it. If artists in music-videos would have really triggered that kind of fashion then high heels would be in fashion for men NOW! Do you remember 'Sigue Sigue Sputnik' or some pics of 'Mötley Crüe'? They wore heels - but that didn't make it into the regular guy's fashion back then. Obvioulsy, we need some other drivers (maybe just ourselves?)...

  12. Since she prefers manly, give her manly! Search www.zappos.com for a pair of Harly Davidson boots. Hopefully they come in your size (10 and below).

    But they're still heels!

    @genebujold[/all]:

I wonder if there's something similar like zappos having size 10+ available plus world-wide shipping on the styles they offer. They got some great styles that could easy be worn by men on a daily base without drawing too much attention...

  13. That was great advise that Sscotty727 gave you. Go slow and allow her to roll things around in her mind and make her own decisions. It may take a while for your wife to come around in your favor. When she sees that other people are doing it and you are still the same husband---she may relent. Cheers---

Basically she knows and she doesn't have a hard time with it. The problem is I have too many shoes already. I might wanna sell some in the future. And after I cleared some storage space from non-properly fitting shoes I may go for some new pairs.

  14. One more story to build up your courage: It happened to me that I went for a new pair of black knee high stretch leather boots with pointy toes with my local shoe retailer. Okay, I usually wear US ladies 12 but the boots I was interested in came only up to size 10. Hm. Only buying and leaving wasn't an option. Since I know some of these styles would still fit well in my size I had to try them on in the store. Well, I picked the box from the shelf had a seat and pulled them on. I didn't notice the young couple on the other side of the shelf. I already watched myself in the mirror flaunting around how the boots would fit when the couple along with young kids came around the corner. The little girl spotted me first: 'Mummy, mummy look what he's doing'. Mum said: 'If he likes it why shouldn't he go for it? There aren't just us women who are into this...'. - Again, I was completely baffled. The young man (sorta party-look-styled type of a pal) obviously wanted to say something that wasn't according to his wife's philosophy. At least you could tell by looking at his face that he was going to say something. She noticed and looked at him in a way that if he'd said one false word she'd kill him instantly. -- Wow, probably a vast percentage of all the 'regular' folks are not that narrow-minded as one would always assume. CU! -Mike

  15. I've got similar ones: 5.5" heel and 2" platform. Go well along w/ long flared jeans. Nobody ever noticed... I'll go slow revealing my secret. I must feel that it's about the right time to tell them... CU! -Mike

  16. Actually this would go for the 'Stories' section as well. But I decided to put it here to encourage other pals to wear high heels in public. One day I felt like it was about right to check what happens when I wore my 5" heeled knee high boots to the gym. Not to do some aerobics in them but just to be seen. Usually there are a couple of very good looking girls as well amongst the crowd. Naturally. There's one girl I always wanted to tell her that she and her whole attire looks very good, especially the heels she wears once in while. But how? It shouldn't sound if was trying to pick her up or something. - I came into the gym. Some looked down at me trying to find out where the typical click-clack-women-shoe-sound came from. They obviously didn't get it since I wore long flared jeans at that time along with the boots. Okay, everything went fine, I changed and did my training course. During that time SHE came in. Looked damn good, wore a fake-fur coat, black pantyhose (the coat wasn't too long so one could take a glimpse) and high heeled (~4"?) black knee high pointed-toe boots. Cool! - After the lesson I got a shower, changed back and tried to leave. I briefly talked to the trainer (who's one of my friends who knows about my passion) and headed for the gym's exit. I had to get through the crowd as there's roughly 100 people attending the aerobic course. Besides that the cute blonde was also one to pass by. Since she looked like an expert regarding clothing, fashion etc. I assumed she would immediately recognize what I wore. I delayed my 'departure' a bit and waited for her to leave. I accepted to be seen by the other girls but to get negative feedback or laughter from HER would have been devastating to me. Okay, since she'd left I went on my way home, meaning headed for my car to drive home. Just outside the gym I hit the concrete floor with my blade heeled boots and that made a lot of noise on that calm evening. A few steps later - I'd already passed the point of no return - I noticed the blond girl was still there. To flee back into the gym would have been ridiculous. She obviously waited for her lady-friend, who also wore heels that night and that was why Blondie turned 'round her head instantly. She was puzzled to see me instead of her. Ooops! What now? She asked me point blank: 'Do you wear girl's shoes?'. I hold on for half a second or so and replied: 'Yes I do wear heeled boots!'. I intentionally omitted the term 'girl's'. Guess what came next! Wrong! She wanted to see what I particularly wore. 'Wow, that looks cool. I couldn't cope with such tall heels!' she said (Remember my guessing on the height of her heels a minute ago? They must have been only 3.5" or so when my heels were too high for her!). I explained: 'Yes, it's 5"'. I still wasn't quite sure about her reaction, but then: 'If you wear heels then you should wear flats once in a while to avoid shortening your tendons...' - WAIT A MINUTE! Am I in the wrong movie? She adviced me how to wear heels properly!!! I don't remember what was next she said. I expected everything but her telling me how to go for wearing heels more often since I always took her for being like 'I'm the woman and you are the man - that's as easy as this is black and this is white'. I was completely wrong, fortunately! -- One week later when we met again at the gym I thanked her for her reaction when she found out about me wearing (ladies') shoes. She told me: 'Hey, that's you! And you can do whatever you want. And if this makes life more colorful then why shouldn't you do it? Don't let them tell you otherwise...!'. Again, I wasn't expecting that... Got encouraged? CU! -Mike

  17. Folks, who do you think it's the best shot to turn to first when you finally made the decision to tell the world about your crush for high heels, meaning wearing them yourself (as a man)? The family? The best friend? Your wife? I've told my GF that I'm very fond of high heeled shoes already a couple of days after we got together and she was okay with it. Till then only 2 or 3 of my best friends knew. It wasn't actually a real 'coming out' but a first step. What do you think? CU! -Mike
