Did anyone bid in the auction or participate in or view the walk?
It aint happened yet - it takes place on Sat 31st October.
Sounds to me like a perfect opportunity for some guy-heeling, either surrepticiously or "full on" for those brave enough.
I would have popped along to watch, only the missus has already made other plans for that weekend (story of my life! )

Re: Have you ever worn a female relatives heels.... It goes without saying really - this is how 99.9% of us male heelers got started (secret investigation of our mothers and/or sisters shoe collection).

Alexander McQueen must need his head examined----

i wonder how many guys wear heels in this event
Since there will be TV cameras there (that's television, not transvestite ), my guess is 'not many'.
If I'm free that day (31.10.09), I may well head over there to people-watch.

Interesting fundraising initiative here - the publicity photos & video include Vernon Kay wearing red stiletto platforms!

Wicked-looking boots Xa.
If I had that sort of cash to spend on footwear though, I would have bought half-dozen or so pairs from various other outlets.
I quite like the looks of these ones at the moment:-

shocking but old news - "By Sun Tzu on 29-10-2006"
i wonder if there's any statistics on heel-related deaths?

The fact that he was dressed the way he was really should have nothing to do with the crime.
It didn't - it was highlighted because of the guys' profession.
Judges are supposed to be sober, sensible, mature, conservative, dignified, etc. members of society. A judge wearing a cocktail dress and heels does not "add up" and that's why it was newsworthy.

Ok everybody, what in your own mind and words is the perfect pizza?
There used to be one available in a supermarket over here (Safeway) which was absolutely divine.
It was an oval-shaped stonebaked base with juicy chicken on one side of it with some kind of green herb (can;t remember what) and pepperoni on the other side of it.
I have no idea what made it so delicious but it was better than all those I've ever had from Pizzaland / Pizza Hut / Deep Pan / Perfect Pizza / Dominos, etc. etc. etc.

Also saved enough money to buy a suppercharger for my truck.
So what do you usually have for supper in your truck?

Just found this ( a few months old ) article in the Irish Independant:-
The usual nonsense is spouted, thus advancing our cause by less than a hairs-breadth. *sigh*

Anyone watching Big Brother ? (I don't blame you if you're not - it's absolute drivel).
If you are though, you may have seen the recent "man wearing high heels" bit - Siavash has accepted a challenge to wear a weird bodysuit & black stiletto heels until he is evicted (which could be more than a fortnight away).
The immediate response from his fellow housemates was - well, see for yourself:-
the bloke laughing hardest is homosexual (oh, the irony!)

only £35+ per ticket *cough* if there were one or two famous faces in the cast it might be worth the money - otherwise forget it.

...a guy in a rubber catsuit and fetish boots standing up there doing nothing more than just giggling with the alcoholics at that hour of the morning is a little beyond "odd"
Yes, but is it Art?
but seriously, my thoughts went along the same lines as yours.
as 5inchlover said himself though, he didn't choose the timeslot. that part of it was just unlucky.
i'd have enjoyed seeing/hearing some more interesting feedback which he's certain to have received in an evening slot - though i did like the bewildered chap at 03:15!

Did it in full heels!!! Was there 7-8am Monday. Oh well, we cant all get the best times but there were still a fair few peple about!
Bloody hell, he did too!

Anybody been watching this?
it's a public art thing, where 2400 'ordinary' members of the public are permitted to "do whatever they want" for an hour on the vacant plinth in Trafalgar Square. Most of them seem to be highlighting awareness of something or promoting some cause or other.
What we need is a confident, extrovert HHP member (male heelers only) to get up there & preach to the masses. Any volunteers???

Also, don't the British refer to females as "birds"?
yep, as well as chicks, skirt, babes, totty, and many others.
Sexism is alive and kicking in the UK!

there's a few automotive ones: e.g. hood (US) = bonnet (UK) trunk (US) = boot (UK) wind shield (US) = windscreen (UK) gear lever / shift (US) = gear stick (UK) tail pipe (US) = exhaust (UK) and so on...

Greatings euchrid :-)
Do you have a link you can post here so we can see them ?
I'm pretty sure these are the ones. They are incorrectly described as kneeboots on their website.

Can't have just been coincidence surely!?! Your size & everything!?!
You must have a secret admirer.

I actually quite like the Mary Jane style Crocs you can get. I've seen a few girls in 'em and I think they look cute. They're actually not ugly, unlike the original style of Crocs!
You're right - those look 1000 times better than the original 'rubber-clog' designs.

Notice that bike? It's outfitted with racing handlebars and hand brakes yet it is a single-speed.
was there a bike in the photos? I didn't notice.

Hi, I don't know if you like going to gigs or not (rock/indie/metal/goth - whatever) but i've found those to be excellent places for wearing heels. no one notices (unless you are showing them off deliberately) and there are usually characters there with outlandish clothing anyway. The O2 Islington Acadamy is pretty perfect - change into the heels in the upstairs bar then go check your bag - easy.

Westfield's own site did have a mention of it previously but it's gone again now. Perhaps it's too "down market" for them???
