With those jeans at that length there is not much to see when you're standing. The shoes would modify your walk enough to get the attention of a perceptive person. Most would not notice. They are beautiful shoes, by the way.

JeffB, I think I know what you're talking about. For me its been that as I have come to accept myself more the compulsive urge to wear heels has lessened tremendously. I've noticed that when I'm stressed and feel the need to get away my urges become stronger again. Its like wearing the shoes brings me back to myself. Does that make any sense to you?

Way back in the late '50's I was cleaning out a storage room for my neighbor and I encountered a pair of black leather pointy-toed stilettos in my size. Needless to say I "liberated" them and hid them in my newspaper sack until I could get them to a more secure location. As I look back on things I come to realize my neighbor had planted them there for me anyway. She was great.

My wife and I wear the same size shoes, but I am usaully the only one in heels. She loves the look and wishes she could wear them more herself but she simply does not have good feet for heels. She is flat footed. I have have a high arch and can, and do, wear heels extensively. I can get just as tired wearing flats as I do heels. She on the other hand does wear them to bed for fun and play.
I told her if I go first put me in 5" heels and bury me happy.
I have flat feet and I've found that I am more comfortable in a heel than not. A heel of 2 to 3 inches eases the tiredness that comes from not having an arch. The height gives support.

This will show my age but I remember when Joan Lunden was the only woman on morning tv that showed any heels and boy, did she ever! Now every newstainment show has some eyecandy for us.

I don't even try to justify it. When the mood hits me and I have the money to spare I will buy shoes. Its not like I'm choosing between that and eating.

Titou, I love your choice. They say I'm one of y'all without screaming it.

I just got to know your sources, especially for the first low-cut pumps and the first two pairs of ballet flats.Your lady's feet are in great condition for someone who has been heavily into ballet and she shows them well in her choices for footwear. Thank you both for sharing.

Hey there T&H. Welcome home. I don't wear in public but I do at home as much as possible. I'm not into hose and I usually wear my heels bare. You'll find a great diversity of tastes here.

i have to differ. i think she is BONE UGLY.
like most celebrities, she is much too thin to be a real woman. (let's face it, boobs & butts are largely made of fat, and when a woman gets too skinny she looks like a 12-year old in drag)
her looks are way too harsh for my taste.
and i've yet to see a photo of her smiling. a smile makes all the difference in the world on a woman's face, and janine garafalo (i know i've murdered the spelling) looks better smiling than angelina jolie looks WITHOUT a smile.
these are all opinions, and opinions are like @$$-holes. everybody has one, and yours stinks.
So tell me why Christina Ricci looks so danged good even after breast-reduction and with a scowl on her face?

Have you ever spotted a shoe on someone and thought it was hot, then when you tried it it didn't look like much? Quite often the attractiveness of a shoe depends on who's wearing it. Case in point: I hate platforms but one day PiB showed up in some platform mules that set me all a-flutter. Had to do a lot of rethinking after that.

Hey, thanks for remembering me Dude. How's everything in Big D? I'm sure you can spot a lot there. Texas grows their women big too.

Yes Paris does have BIG feet, and yes she does wear designer shoes. In fact a couple of designers custom make her shoes since they are larger than the rack shoes. But I've noticed that her feet are really not that attractive and she tends to abuse her shoes. Many times the heels of her shoes are tattered and that detracts from her put together look. I can't knock her totally though because I treasure all women with size 10 or better feet.

Great samples Scitex. Just remember toe cleavage is IN in a big way now and I've always liked it a lot.

Hey Whynot. All I'm getting when I click on that link is a search page. Is there another URL?

That platform is just too extreme for me. I'm sure they make a statement and they're not necessarily unattractive (see Posh pics), I just don't like them.
-
Well I DO like toe cleavage ans the shoes are nice, but.... I've seen chicken feet with less wrinkles.I do not like toe cleavage and the feet are not the prettiest, but still...wearing high heels.
Greetings Hans.

I vote for Gwen Stefani. Ghe has taken stilettos to a new level.

Happy birthday HeelD. Love the shoes. I didn't know Clarks made anything that looks that good. Hang on to that gf too. She's a real jewel.

Ballet flats have never really gone away since the late '80's but they weren't being worn as much as they are now. I like them on most women. They convey an aura of comfort and sexiness in a low-key manner.

There's something about Ellen. I can't be mad at her 'cause I like her taste in women. She was a great sport and I could see that she was truly uncomfortable in those heels. Interestingly though, she started warming to her own look on the monitor. Who knows we may see her soften her look in the future. Also Spice was equally uncomfortable in sneakers.
New pics please comment!

Let me see if I can say this nicely. How can you hide WHITE platforms unless your pants are dragging the ground?
