  1. I just bought a new pair of shoes on ebay, thought I'd post one of the pics from the site. They're Tommy Hilfiger, leather with a 3 1/2 inch heel and pointed toe. I loved the as soon as I saw them, so i used the buy it now, it was only $3 more than the starting bid, and I would've hated myself if I lost them over 3 bucks. Anyway, here's the pic, and I should have them in about 2 weeks.

Saw some similar boots with a thinner heel in the ABC Distributing fall catalog.

  2. Shrimper, why don't you just call them and ask the customer service operator the question about width and size? First of all, these operators are used to men calling about their stock and are well schooled in size and width conversion. Take their advice and if you find the shoes not to your liking, exchange them of another size or style that you like better.

whynotheels thanks you for your response to his question as was mine.

  3. Hi,

I'm trying to get back into a pair of heels. I'm thinking about these:

The description says nothing about being a wide width. Does anyone have experience with width converstion. I'm a men's 13B thought I usually slosh around in regular width men's because it's just easier to find them. Do you think a 15 regular width lady's would work? I've worn 14 wide and they seemed to push the ending of my feet together until the sides of my feet pushed out.

    Thanks,

Generally a Womes size medium would correspond to a mens narrow or B. The size number converts from mens to 1.5 to 2 sizes larger in womens depending on the brand and style. Sexy Shoes has a pretty good return/exchange policy so if they don't fit you're only out the time and shipping.

  4. The latest edition to my collection, a pair of Asos black patent cross strap heels:

Interesting that these are made like stripper shoes but they don't look like stripper shoes. Subtle differences can have a major impact on perspective.
  5. Its interesting to notice that men who don't actually care about heels feel that a woman in heels is more open to their advances. In this day and age an unescorted woman in heels is very likely to experience rudeness from ignorant males and most wish to avoid this type of encounter. I don't believe the type of men who frequent this board would harass a person, male or female because of their outfit but it does happen.

  6. Here are my latest shoe purchase. Brown mules from Vicini. size 37½.

These are actually from past years collection, I bought these in very reasonable price, they were in discount.

    Few photos included.

I love the way your toe-prints show up on the insoles of the slides. Thanks for sharing.

  7. I would suggest that you shave the hair or wear dark stockings. The macho foot and the femme sandals clash.

Just my opinion. Anyone else agree?

Could be he is like me. Not trying to look like a woman, just enjoying the feel of the heels.
  8. This might well sound like high treason, but I recently ordered a pair of low heeled women's shoes from Maryland Square:

For reasons I can't quite explain, these two inch heeled leather slip-ons really appealed to me, simplistic, yet stylish, I liked these shoes from jump street and decided that I just had to have a pair. My reasoning for this being that as I'm slowly closing in on my goal of wearing a skirt in public, I figured that shoes like these would work well in a casual public environment. Like I said, buying low heeled shoes might be seen as treason, or, I'm expanding my horizons to take in all heel heights, the important thing is that I'm still wearing women's shoes, something I'll always love doing.

I have some very much like them that I got from Payless a couple of years ago. They are extremely comfortable and you can feel the lift of the heel. I would wear mine out if the heels weren't so loud. I've thought about taking them to the shop and having the caps put on them.

  9.

    -snip-

Must get around with the use of a walker - so now we have HIS & HER WALKERS. Dawn must wear a back brace till he sees his surgeon on his 2nd visit - he does not sleep in it. It gives him the strength he needs to support his back to stand & move around. So now that since he was fitted with a leg brace & his back brace we are off & running, well maybe not running & surely not STREETHEELING!

    :o

    TOOTLES!!!

Too bad the streetheeling has to wait til next week. 8<))

    Bless you both.
