  1. She likes them alot. Her mom even wants a pair, she tried mine on but they're just a hair too big, but not much. I'll admit they are a little tight on me, but the fact they're real leather, they'll stretch a bit and feel better. Now I just need a place to wear them out!

Wouldn't it be great to share shoes with mom-in-law?

  2. Yes, she is a lady of much class and style. I discovered her long before I found the forums. I think I may have saved some of her early pictures somewhere. I'll try to dig them up.

  3. Hello!

Thanks again to all which did me welcome so nicely. Maybe you could also help me with two questions:

    1. Where I can upload an avatar? Can't find anything in my User CP

    2. How can I set up that I will be automatically emailed if somebody writes in my Threads?

Ok, but now back to the shoes. Here I would like to show you a pair of my Pyramid black pumps. Perfect for the eveing and "the little black dress"!

    Best wishes,

    EVE

They're not just perfect for the evening, but for all-night and morning too.

  4. Just my take: When I go to the Womens' side I'm not looking for something I can find on the Mens' side. Guess I'm just boring, looking basicly for a pump with maybe a strap or two and varying heights of heel. Besides, Mens' oxfords are cheaper than Womens',, Have you ever noticed that?

  5. Amanda

The company I work for our COO is a lady that is a take charge person when we had the state of business meetings a couple months back and it was my first time to meet her as our corperate offices are in Michigan and I am in New Mexico, anyway at this meeting she was dressed in a pencil skirt blouse and a blazer with 5" Louboutins shoes I was told that she dresses this way every day excpet on Fridays when she is in jeans because she rides her Harley to work. My point is more and more women are excutives in major companies women have become a force in politics and they still wear their heels, so why can't men do the same?

I was about to make the same case (i.e. Condoleeza and Hillary).

  6. Keep a watch on Ebay. Some are sure to pop up there. No style totally disappears, you just have to look the right places for them. I lived through the sixties and seventies when stilettos fell off the end of the earth. Funny story though; I was driving through this neighborhood in this large city and saw a store that had heels on display in the window. Just thinking about finding some heels I went into the store and after looking around for a minute I realized that shoes weren't being sold there, it was more like a museum with the old styles on the rack. Turned out the store was a front for something else. When that dawned on me I hustled my tail out of there and never looked or went back.

  7. Can anyone at the forum convince my philippine wife that men that like heels and like to wear heels, are not gay?

Over here life is only "black & white".

If a man like to wear anything that is worn normally by women...he is automaticly gay.

Only you can do that my friend. I'm too busy trying to convince my own wife.

  8. My wife for a long time would not address the subject of me wearing heels. One day though as I was trying on some new dress trousers she bought me I decided to pair them up with my black patent pumps. As I walked into the room where she was she spotted them and had an instant reaction, unfiltered by any of her shoulds, and we were off to an intense session of f***ing. Since then we have been able to discuss things. It just took a long time to break that ice.

  9. Having grown up in a city with large immigrant populations from many different ethnic groups that tended to settle in distinct neighborhoods, I would like to offer this observation. For all of these groups the families of farm workers, industrial laborers, and domestics tended to produce both males and females with sturdier bodies due to the physical demands of making a living and stores in the neighborhoods catered to their markets. As Americans are becoming more homogenized the differences among younger people are becoming much less noticeable. Still statistics from the fashion industry show that average shoe sizes for women over the last 50 or so years have grown from 6 to now 9. I have heard many parents complain about being able to find shoes for their daughters that were age-appropriate because of their larger sizes.

  10. In reference to the political correctness of Bubba136 and Dr. Shoe, I believe they were referring to African-American (Black) women having larger, wider feet. I do agree with the prevalence of wider feet in the Black community but the only women I have witnessed buying 12's or 13's in a Payless store were Anglos. In fact the first Payless store that I found carrying 13's on their racks was in a predominantly White suburb of a major city. As the saying goes "All generalizations are inaccurate, including this one." Its my hope that we can be frank with one another without offending as we're speaking from our own perspectives on the world as we each know it.

  11. Kinoki foot pads...ever hear of them? They are not just for the benefit of your feet... They benefit your whole system. Slap 'em on at bedtime. Unless you are extremely healthy, you will find out that they leach a lot of bad junk out of your system by morning. I have no financial interest in them, but they have helped me a lot. Available at Walgreen Drug, and on-line.

I get the Ionic Detox foot bath from my chiropractor. That takes out a LOT more than the pads can.

  12. Just took a quick peek at Dansko website and noticed that several styles are sold for both men and women. An example are the models Karl and Sonja: the same shoe except the 'womens' version comes in more colors and finishes. The open-toed and strappy models are distinctly for women but otherwise their stuff is all unisex.
