  1. My 2c... When I'm out of a relationship with any OGF, it is over for good despite of what my mom, dad, all other OGF's, might say/think. At the end it is just adding a whole layer of difficulties to the relationship! Pam

  2. My experience & opinion is that the first person that I need to ask "permission" is me. I need to evaluate the opportunity and timing to make sure ieverything is OK when I plan to wear the heelies. My case involves a wife that is not accepting, that means any heeling is done behind the scenes.

  3. Dr... My thoughts and prayers to you and the family... I concur with your thoughts 100%! Tolerance is only a start for a partner to accept the heels (or any other situation). It takes some reading between the lines, time, and being really open and sensitive to BOTH feelings about the issue being discussed. Best of luck, I am positive that things will resolve in the best of the manners Pam

  4. It is great to have a supporting SO! It makes life so, so,so, much easier and fun! My wife "knows". (quoted because she is aware I have a pair of 4'' stiletto boots in my closet that I was supposed to wear to a costume party!) But she is not supportive, she comes from a very traditional background. For me it is a daily give & take, but it is all part of being in a relationship.

  5. blackslide, IMHO, I have to concur with JeffB. I will let the storm pass; lay low for a while and then figure out what are the reasons she is so upset. I don't think giving up the heels for a little while will change who you are. HH are just a part to a whole; but this change can help save your marriage ... and that I think is a strong reason. Best of luck Pam

  6. IMHO, When someone links the way of dressing with gender, they have some type of unsolved prejudice. At this time in age many, and I mean many, gender specific fashions are in the past. Some examples: earrings, tight clothing, use of all sorts of beauty products, etc. So in my mind I see "alternative" fashion moving towards a more genderless stage. But some people cannot just accept it! (sound more like a rambling than a thought! ;) )

  7. I can recommend sevens (KH just pointed out the reasons); for the human kind, and there is another brand called CHiP & Pepper which are pretty good. GAP is also a good way to go...especially their new curvy cut
