  1. well done mate, I have had one or two promotions latley and it is nice to be recognised. keep aiming high and recognise when it is time to pause and catch up, then go for the next promotion. Treat Jade with something from your next whapping pay check. see you soon.

  2. Hi. Heelfan, I was very tempted to take my lovely wife in to town today to buy some slingbacks and have a go in them, Evans in our local town have about 5 pairs of pink high heel slingback begging to be bought for £10 each. But what if I didnt get on with them and I too wore failed slingbacks? Too risky for me. A question to you Heelfan, how do you get on with slingbacks, I personaly cant see you in them. you are to much of a macho heel wearer to go out in slingbacks. We look forward to seeing you soon,

  3. Wow, thanks for the replys. I watched Serial Mom today recently, what was it about not wearing white shoes after 'what' day? I will need help from over the pond for this one. Nigel.

  4. I would imagine that this has been done before but last week at work I overheard somebody saying that her shoes squeak and the other person saying that she could not have paid for them!! I didnt pay much attention and didnt question where she got that saying from. Has anybody else heard this? What other things are said about shoes?

  5. Has the date been set for this yet? We'd like to come if possible. I'm assuming this isn't a lads only event as my partner would like to come as well.

Hi, the two of us will be coming and I think daz will be bringing his better (sorry daz) half, also, there was a threat by heelfan that we may be able to go back to his place where his wife may well be putting on a bit of a spread for us.

so rest assured that it wont be a blokes only meeting, infact the more ladies the better.

feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.

    Nigel

  6. Damsel in Distress? I have to dissagree with you here, The failed slingback wearer is the girl who kicks off her shoe at the end of the day and leaves them to fester in the corner with no respect for them. I would be interested in knowing what shoe designers would make of your liking of their unloved art. There are dozens of reasons for belonging to this Forum and whilst I like to wear heels from time to time, it is the shape of a nice shoe that attracts me and seeing them worn wrong like the girls on this post is not my cup of tea. (labels left on are also a no no) Like you see, each to their own, see you soon, Nigel

  7. Hi my first post was on this topic way back last year. Things have changed for me now and It is really because my wife joins in. Going to buy heels now or as others call them 'womans shoes' is dead easy either with or without the wife, the last three pairs I have bought have been in broad daylight in a high street shop, each time I tried them on. It is quite easy to be a lurker in a store like brantano where the shelves are high, the left and right shoes are in the box, but in a high street shop you have to ask for, in my case the other one of these or do you have a size 10? They do make them in my size so why not?, I did ask on one busy morning to use a changingroom and I think there was more of an issue about me using the changing room in a ladies store than the fact I wanted the shoes, but I dont recall anybody looking and stairing, the thing is....... other folk have a life and they dont care about yours. If you are woried about the noise that your heels are going to make why dont you stick a drawing pin in the heel of your blokes shoes and wander around making the most noise you can, you will find there will be no attention paid to you at all, wearing your heels is then less of a worry than you think. Best of luck

  8. Hi, I have worked out how to to this, so the post below is a bit out of date. One day I will work out how to post a picture, but just for starters, My wifes (headless) pic is on the left of this post. Taken on holiday a couple of years ago. I will try to remember how I got that picture there and update it, seems a little daft now as some of you have met her and I use my real name here on the forum. When I first joined the forum, verybody seemed to be very cagey about who they were, with names like 'heelfan, hoverfly and Firefox' to mention a few. I guess those three are off the hook by showing their faces on this post. Like I said I will pop a better picture on the left when I remember how to. see you sometime, Nigel

  9. Hi, they a just the sort of thing I want, but they dont do them big enough for me. as for being in the same circle as you, well, not really, once you have tried a pair on in a shop, you wont worry so much ever again. go in one morning first thing when you are the only one in the shop and ask for help. they wont mind a bit. Nigel

  10. we moved to get away from folk like that, we have a very secluded house now, nobody can see us, great. I hate nosey parkers. I dont really like the human race as a whole, who would, looking at our track record! Xa' you seem to be a clever kind of Guy, why dont you build a jet engine or something in you garage over the winter, then when you think he is watching you, start it up, 110db of rip roaring air, that should piss him off. beter still get an AM CB and distrupt his veiwing of points of view  even if he is gossiping about you, nobody will be able to hear him. been there, and know how you feel. Nigel

  11. thanks,, 98 seems so old, and wont work with some of my hardware, I can see myself buildiing a peer to peer with 98 dialing out and XP doing all the work, When I get broadband I will go Linux for sure. Chris, I have mandrake 10 and Suse 9.0, but no modem to work with them, If I did though...... I would say good bye to microsoft, linux has everything, and for nearly nothing! best wishes to you all and thanks for your help. Nigel

  12. Hi all, It was good to see the three of you yesterday. sorry is was not wearing my heels, my wife had already bought me a pair of heels in the morning and whilst she likes nice shoes as well, I thought that I had been treated enough for one day, I had brought my boots, but being a tight git with the little money we have I parked miles away, ( shhhh, dont tell anybody, but I aint that good in walking for long distances over cobbles yet ) It was great to turn up and see a few waiting camera men to take pictures, we asked the man on the gate what time the steam train was arriving, It was quite funny, he said "so they keep telling me about the train I dont know anything about it, (Obvously not a steam enthusiast). The train then coasted in almost as soon as we had got onto the platform and pulled up alongside us, I saw heelfan in the distance ( easy to spot, if you are looking for heels, not many men in heels on the platform ) We went down to meet him and then called francis and Jackie on their mobile as the train was about a mile long and packed. It was good to sit down in a very quiet train station and have a chat ( heelfan, remember to look up aspartame on the internet) but then we had to get on as we had loads to do and only an hour on the car parking space. Once again, thanks, and Francis, as you can see, you have inspired me to work through the evening to get the PC going again, even though I am using XP, and I was trying to avoid it, at least I can add my thoughts to our meet yesterday. Anybody in heel wearing mode with label still on the bottom, I always carry a can of WD40 to help you get the labels off, just ask. Nigel

  13. Hi Richie, thanks for your thoughts, I am sure they will be useful to many. I to am using XP, but what I forgot to mention, and this is the real problem, is that I live out in the sticks and my only connection to the internet is via dial up 56k modem. Now you will understand why I am miffed by having to download patches and stuff. It sounds like you know your stuff, and I take what you say on board. does anybody use any other types of operating system? Nigel.

  14. I am getting fustrated with the amount of updates, viruses and worms affecting Windows. I was wondering if anybody used Macs or Linux. Linux is the easier option for me to try as an alternitive as I can load it on to a PC with out buying an Imac or whatever. Any thoughts would be really welcome. Nigel.
