Hi Corsair, Welcome, I too lurked on this site for a while before I became a member, thanks for your store stories, I have found that the assistants are very helpful and I found once that the assistant offered me a store card for a womans shop, she must have been keen to see me spening more money in her shop. If we had more money then perhaps I would spend more, still the sales are just starting, give it another few weeks and they will be giving the stuff away! I look forward to more of your posts! Nigel

Nojh, so as a result of your hiding place being found out, have you thrown out your collection or are you looking to hide them in the mean time, we dont mind helping you out for a while if it makes your life easier, as I dont have anything to hide. Speaking as one that has attended one or two of heelfans meets, I can assure you that there is nothing 'secret' about them as the reports on the Bristol meet will confirm. I am however familiar with little Britain and I have to say that I don’t get it. They seem to be picking on some of the weirder folk in Britain or anywhere for that matter. The chap in the wheel chair is one that makes me cringe. The show takes the pi** out of wearing heels or cross dressing, it isn’t something that anybody should do on this forum, I am not suggesting that you are, as you are fortunate to have not seen the programme I may have got it all wrong but I have not found it funny and I class myself as being comfortable with who I am and what I do. So I would ask the guys in skirts out there if they agree with me or if they find the programme funny. Nigel.

Hi, I am with xaphod, the speakers are a perfect place although you will have to get more and bigger ones as time goes on, it might be worth getting a second hand or new PA speakers with their own carry cases, you could fill them up too. whoops, I think my secret is out. Nigel

The french shoes, They are kind of not really worthy of high heel status, but I would have a pair of the bottom boots, just because they look nice to me. how much were they?

Well, There are a lot of folk that like that kind of stuff, however there seem to be very few here, I think most folk here like the shoes the way they were supposed to be. Having said that, the more views the better, things would become boring otherwise. Nigel

When ever I have bought shoes or boots in Evans they have taken it in their stride.

I take a size ten and I have to try them on as even in the same shop the sizes are quite different.

they have now got a shoe section in their online shop, but I prefer to wait until the sales and get a bargin, as it happens I would love a pair of their boots with the small blade heel.
