As I can't find my earlier "interesting websites" thread, nor the "links to free websites" section (the "links to pay websites" section is still here), I'll start a new thread and offer this up:
-
It seems rare for Faith to go over 4.5 inches; certainly at UK size 7 - maybe they are slightly higher than that because of the bigger size, and would perhaps be only 4 inch at size 4 or 5. I'll look more closely next time.
-
Nothing as far as I can see. Site still works ...

So in The Sun today (one of Britain's best known "Red Tops"), and online at The Sun Online - Bizarre: Flock Of The Pops for Xtina there is this photograph of Christina Aguilera in 8 or 9 inch heel ballet shoes, sitting on a trapeze swing, and all they can say is:
It looks like CHRISTINA AGUILERA has plucked her outfit for her latest music video out of KYLIE MINOGUE’s costume cupboard.
The Dirrty singer wears a shiny pink circus dress and a plume of feathers on her head – apeing Kylie in her last Showgirl tour.
Bizarre!
No mention of the shoes at all!
There's a copy of the video on that site too....

Heh. Journalists. Why let the facts get in the way of a good story.
-
Oh good. I was near there a few weeks ago, but didn't find time to have a look myself. What is it like, and what did you get?
-
>> The most important section, however, the forums, appears to be intact, sans the material lost since the last backup. <<
If you're referring to the post from Jeff where he comments on 3 months material having gone missing, then please note that that post is approaching a year old now.

Welcome back. It's been a lonnnnnng time.
-
Paris Hilton has whoppers too, I hear. Shoe Size that is.

Angel something-or-other in Portsmouth.
Google for: demonia angel portsmouth
Several shops in Camden, up in London.

>> what the shoes were actually going to be used for <<
Dunno about anyone else but they are usually used by being worn on the feet.
Ah, you don't mean "used for" at all, do you; you mean "worn by", gasp!, "men".
However, I'm not sure why that is even vaguely a problem given your fetish-shoe-related background just a decade or two ago...
In any case, your products are a thing of beauty. Admired and coveted by many women, and why it is a surprise? ... a few men too.
-
>> Jo-I hadn't realised that this forum was also for men who wear women's shoes. <<
More than three-quarters of the respondants in this thread are "men that wear", and many of them have size 5 to 8 feet... and it sounds like several are interested.
As for "cross-dressing", have you not read any of the stuff here about "free-styling"? Would you turn away the business if it came to you with cash-in-hand to buy?
-
On your site you say "women's pointy-toe shoes" but as you're posting in the "for everybody" section here, you'll likely get enquiries from men buying for themselves. What's your position on that?
-
Several shops in Camden. The one at about number 236 has the complete Pleaser lineup in the basemant - but there are about 30 shoe shops in the main road (including an Aldo sale outlet). There are several shops stacked out with New Rock boots too (one of them is actually called New Rock).

Typo: heelsdeluce -----> heelsdeluxe

I've been away for some holiday and some heeling, and right after that my computer died. Eventually, here I am back online. Had a quick look from a public terminal a couple of times over the last few days, but scarcely time to post. Should be back to normal now...
-
I haven't had much chance to get online on the last few weeks, so missed much of what has happened. Great day out, and I am back up in London for a couple of days at the moment too.
-
I don't see many guys in heels wandering about town, on average just two or three per year. I do see a few more men looking at shoes in the "wrong" department, and see an occasional furtive try-on going on too.
-
You will have no worries. Opening hours are something like 10 - 6. They are closed on Sunday and Monday, I do believe. The higher stuff is out the back, and yes they have more male customers than female customers visiting that section. Mel is great and will put you at ease. You might even get a cup of coffee, or get to see her wear her 5.5 inch court shoes too.
-
I see that a local charity shop has a lot of Hay Way 4.5 inch and 5 inch sandles and mules (mostly White ones) in their window today - all in UK Size 5.
-
I have an amazing pair of metal heel, black patent, playboy pointy ankle boots, with straps and zip decorations on them. Nice brand.
-
Do you mean the black shoes with 7 inch metal heel, ankle strap, and the "lacing detail" on that ankle strap and around the vamp and side of shoe? If so, then they are by "the highest heel" and there is at least one UK and several European outlets for those. I will warn you that they are very high: almost 7 inch heel at UK size 7 and no platform at all. I tried a pair on last year. They also do the same heel on a lace-up knee boot and on a thigh boot too.
-
The pointy bit is empty if you get the right size shoe. No problem with pointy feet. It doesn't happen.

It sure will. Where'd those heels in the Avatar come from then? I assume they are yours, or ones you plan on getting?
