Fantastic!

New URL for that old picture: http://www.manifest.eu/Media/1998_1999/photos/rs37.jpg

I have seen several websites that claim that the photos were actually "doctored", to make the heels look higher.

This is the time of year when people go off on holiday for a few weeks.

A source of The Highest Heel stuff, in New York City, is mentioned in:

In another thread, someone had said that the NYC Nine West stores were well worth a look.
If I were in NYC I would visit Christian Louboutin even if only to drool.
-
Those are (also) made by "The Highest Heel". In fact, several companies sell them. From what I could make out last year, one company has their own label put on them as if they were their own, when in fact they are identical to all the others out there. They are not leather. They are PVC/PU. Be aware that if the rear lacing is done up too tight the material will stretch and the metal lace-up eyelets will simply drop out. They are extremely high. There are several videos on YouTube with people struggling to walk in them. I would think that few other than Gina and Pata could manage it without a lot of practise. Fun boots for inside wear! A trade stand a London Erotica was doing brisk business selling those last year.

Gwen wears Christian Louboutin quite often it seems.

>> I always thought that greenwich time is one hour less. <<
UK: Winter = UTC+0000 / Summer = UTC+0100
EU: Winter = UTC+0100 / Summer = UTC+0200
People often incorrectly say "GMT" when they really meant to say "UTC".

Darn. It was a Dita video that I watched the start of.... I have no idea why the cut and paste of the URL went wrong.
Here is the correct one I think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIYxcACIlVo

The user is pata as posted earlier in this thread.
Her site is at: http://light-fetish.de/ as seen here.

Shoes can often be stretched a little. Check the earlier forum threads for some tips on that. If you decide to part with them, don't throw them out, sell them! You'll get most if not all of your money back. If you sell on ebay, you might even make a profit.

I didn't know that YSL did their "tributes" as a peep-toe sling-back... but now I do.
Fantastic. How are they for height?
-
They appear to be an American retailer of Italian-made shoes. Their website is at: http://www.bellisimostores.com/
They might be a one-off import from someone who ordered by mail-order, or who bought them while on holiday there.
Google comes up with:
Leather Goods -- Bellissimo -- 200 Archway Road LONDON, N6 5BA -- 020 8347 0665
but that could be anything.

That website doesn't change the URL in the browser when you navigate round the site.
The URL in the original post is of the page I visited from a link shown in another thread on this forum. I then navigated round that site until I came across this video and then pasted the URL from my browser back into this thread.
I had no idea that was exactly the same URL as the original I had pasted in to the browser to get to that site. In between, I had looked at several other pages. The URL in the browser does not change when you visit a new page on that site.
That was the problem.
The link now works. Be aware that there is a short advert before the main video plays.

Thanks for the brand name information. It makes all the difference.
Their website was very easy to find: http://www.ragesa.co.za/shoes.htm
The second result in Google was also related: http://ragestyle.blogspot.com/2007/05/shoes-at-rage.html

Yeah, kneehighs stood on my toe at a heelmeet a few years ago.
There still a dent and a scuff on the toe of that boot.

Nice. I like the middle pair the best. Any chance of some style names and/or brand names for those?

There are plenty of places around the south that you can buy from. For most shops you will not be the first that they have seen.
