I have ordered heels online with no problems.
-
I will usually wear a pair of my boots (ankle, mid-calf, knee or otk) and have no problems driving my car or my wife's car
-
I just found a pair of wedge boots from JC Penny's and have seen some others at Macy's which I have my eye on.
-
Purchase a pair of boots from Citi Trends. They are over the knee grey with about a 3.5" heel w/ platform and quite comfortable to walk in.
-
Has anyone bought any of the current wedge or flat boots that are around? I have seen some that are with a 1" wedge heel or so that look so nice.

Happy, I am looking forward to the clearence season to get a pair of those JS boots as well, when the price nose dives. But those are lovely boots all the same.

I have gone through a few breakups myself prior to getting married to the woman I love now. I have always found the heels to be a great friend to wear around the house and out and about.

The unfortunate issues with our courthouses in my county in the past is that we have had a embarassing history of laxness (a number of ladies wearing high heel boots with jeans over them as well as gentlemen of the biker persona) have been known to have knives, blades and whatever tucked into the boots and going before a judge to plead "innocent" Mind you I was dealing with a civil matter, but everything in one building. I am not making excuses, but a sign of the times.

I have been to other DSW's in the Bay Area and have had no problems either, but this being the downtown store, might be a reason.

Yesterday, I had to take care of some issue regarding my late mother's estate and had to go to the main courthouse which is under standard security (metal detectos, x-ray machines ect) and had to walk through the metal detector in a pair my Baker Shoe brown boots w/ 4" heels. The dectector beeped (had everything else in the little tray for the x-ray machine) and the security guard asked me to pull up my pants legs. I quickly and very calmly said "bet against my wife on the Oakland Raiders game (she is a very die-hard Raider fan) A slight smirk came across his face and he said "not a very smart thing to do". I replied "this is what I got for losing against her". May have to go back to courthouse on Wed and have already picked out a pair of pull on boots that don't have anything on them.

I went to the DSW in SF on Thursday and went to the clearance section of the store and found almost nothing to try on (Stuart Weizman's $500 regular, reduced to half no thank you). Mind you I was looking for sz 11's.

I am tossing my hat into the ring with another agreement of Aldo heels and boots running small. I have maybe 3 pairs that fit comfortbly.

5'11" weigh between 202lbs and 206lbs now.
-
I have been looking at a number of websites that have loafer heels and am looking at them for the fall season.
-
With me having 3 weeks of Vacation. I am going to try and do some trying on of heels at one of the local DSW's if I can.
-
I have a pair of the Linea Paolo's as well, love them
-
Nice, but not my style.
-
I have looked at all the boots that Sears is selling and I might get some of pairs from there this season.
-
I always shave my legs. I find it the easiest way to keep them smooth.
-
I was by the local DSW and came upon a pair of Steve Madden Miami Pumps size 11 in a tan patent for the price of $38.
-
Two thumbs up from me on those boots. I would even wear those even.
-
I love the feeling of being able to wear my heels to the movies. I sometimes wish that I could have some woman that is trying to get across to a seat and looks down to see the heels and then at me just to see here reaction.
-
I have already picked out the boots I want from the current list of boots they have there. I cannot wait until the prices start to drop, then I will grab for them.
-
Those are quite nice as they are.
Shopping for heels: try them on?

Before I would have not done it, but yesterday I was with my 2 step-daughters (who know about my heeling) and they encouraged me to try on a pair I was looking at, which I did. They did not fit right, but it was uplifting to have that kind of support.
