I have noted the flaws and plan to take them to my local shoe hospital for modifications. I have noted that the zipper needs to be worked a bit to lossen it up.

I ordered a pair of Trendsetter boots from Bakers online (did not have them in my size in the store I went to). I find I will have to have to have them adjusted to fit me.

I have yet to wear a pair of my boots or heels to either a play or musical, but have worn them to a few movies this year.

Has anyone purchased any Baker Shoe high heel shoes or boots right now?

I was in one of the local malls the other evening after work and looked in the Bakers Shoe store and found that the prices were very very good on most everything they were selling. They even had a sign saying "Buy one at regular price, second pair 1/2 off.

My SO knows, approves and encourages me to do when I can.

I use my closet and some moving boxes for all my boots and heels.

I can relate. My step-daughter who is a character is very supportive. The other day I was wearing a pair of Nine West pumps and we were discussing what I was wearing and she said that is was a surprise I would be wearing pumps, knowing that I normally wear high heel boots.

I would love to have a pair of those boot as well, they are fabulous!!!

For a west coast kid who grew up with Montgomery Wards, only to see the stores close throughout the West Coast. This is a wonderful find. I just put the link onto my list of keepers.

Then gf now wife was told when we were first talking on the phone and from there she told her girls and niece and all have been very supportive of my heel wearing.

For me it is straight. I am quite lucky and happy to have a wife that is more than understanding as well as 2 step-daughters who are supportive and understanding. I also have the great luck of an understanding niece as well.

I normally wear a pair of my high heel boots when looking over this site.

Compared to my boots. I have about a dozen pairs of pumps/heels.

The first person (my wife I dearly love) is the first one I told. She has been very supportive more than I expected. When my two step-daughters (20 & 17) and my niece found out they were equally supportive of my heel wearing. The big joke between my niece and myself is that she gets a bit jealous of the heel styles I buy and I have more than once given her pairs I might have just purchased for myself, but will let her have them.

I say score 1 for the justice system and 0 for a frivilous lawsuit.

Saturday evening my wife and I took our niece to dinner at the local Red Lobster. Afterwards we went to the local mall in Macys where the most unusual issue took place. As I was looking over the sales shoes and boots, I could hear two ladies talking upon seeing me in a pair of my platform boots. They were making comments along the lines of it being "so wrong". I finally walked up next to them to which one of the ladies asked "why I was wearing women's high heels"? I calmly answered that they were much more comfortable to wear, upon which I pulled up one of my pants legs and showed her the kind of boot I was wearing, where she replied "oh those are very nice". As to her senserity being honest, I did not care, I just wanted to mildly humble her. My wife caught up with me and told me what my niece was hearing upon which I told her what I did. She wanted put her 2 cents in, but seeing what I had done was enough we left the Macys and walked the rest of the mall

Went to Macy's the other day and found a pair of Jessica Simpson "Aura" boots. They have a 5" heel and 1.5" platform. Quite a boot to wear.

I was at the local Macy's and went and tried on 2-3 pairs of heels and ankle boots with no trouble or problem. I had no one make any comments or got any raised eyebrows.

I get the feeling that she might be insecue about having a man able to wear heels as well as she can. I have had that happen to me as well.

I was at the SF DSW store last nite. There were so many heels and boots to try on in the clearence section. The only problem is that I work for a company and am required to wear a company uniform. I think the rest says it all. If I had not been wearing the uniform, I would have been trying on some those heels and boots.

I went to Sheiks Shoes over at the local mall and came upon 2 platform wedge boots. One is a Womans Code 8 knee high with buckles and a Womans 003 over the knee wedge boot. Both boots are Black PU and I got them in a Buy one Get one 1/2 off sale. I could not pass them up. The Womans Code 8 has a 4 1/4" heel and the Womans 003 is a 5" heel with a 1" platform.

I do wear heels when I am relaxing around my house and it is nice
