As far as finding someplace to go, it doesn't have to be an adventure. Just go to the grocery store or the gas station or the post office or wherever you would normally go in a day. When you make it an "outing," then it becomes a bigger deal than it really is. I've seen several suggest that you go to a coffee shop. That's a great idea, except for one problem--so you walk into a coffee shop, order your stuff, then go and sit down, maybe for quite some time. Then you get up, walk back outside to the car, and go home.  Now you've taken an hour, and you only got to walk maybe 100 yards total. Maybe I'm just strange, but if I'm going to bother to pick out and put on heels for some "outing," by golly, I'm going to walk somewhere. That's why shopping malls are the best short-time commitment place to go. Lots of walking.

I think I get a lot from the feeling of just having heels on and sitting there rocking on the heel knowing what that feels like when I drool over so many women doing it.

@RonC, that is my biggest fear is someone smart ass posting a hate photo on social media and people finding out. I am in a very public career and this is my fear. I go far away from home but sadly I always seem to run into someone that knows me.

Out of town trips may be the solution.... hope to try more

@mlroseplant I appreciate that, I do need to shave my feet, I am going to do that today. I think they run pretty true to size. I wear an 11 in heels and have found them to fit really great. I have found cheaper off brand shoes that are too bid but these are amazing and feel great. 

Sadly my high heel wearing wife does not understand my want to feel what she feels in heels. She has not idea that I have any heels. 

Some day I hope to feel the joy of wearing a pair of "so Kates" if I can find them for a reasonable price.

I wish i could,  she basically told me she would leave me if she ever saw me in heels. Not a real good conversation sadly.  I was hoping for something like that for sure but i will have to dind someone else that likes to play

the length needs to match the heel height.... and therein lies the problem. If you want to wear a different pair of heels then the pants will likely be the wrong hem length. Usually they are. Similarly if you have a smaller toe and you have a baggy hem then the shoe can vanish and it looks silly. The reality is if you wear heels for work/ all day you may want to drop to flats for a short time or lower heels etc and your screwed if you're wearing pants. It just looks stupid and you feel awkward. Ask most women and I'm sure they'll tell you the same.

The solution is a pant thats approx 3 inches above the ankle - or a skirt/dress. These work with all the shoes!

 

Agree totally - a pointy toe stiletto heel is a sexy shoe. They make you feel better when you wear them - or at least I do. If you really want a sexy powerful feeling consider a navy skirt suit instead with those nude pumps. A skirt suit always works a treat.

Ya I can't even imagine what that feels like and to be in public. I could never have the bravery to do that. I commend you for it!!!  I will have to try at home

I don't know about pants - wearing pants with heels is very tricky in my opinion - especially if I need to change my shoes so I don't wear pants because a skirt is easier.

Still - as far as a look goes - I'd definitely wear this !

 

Why are the pants tricky?  I love long pants with the heels just showing a bit. Its good because I am extremely unsure about wearing in public.
