Got out today and did some christmas shopping and a little shoe shopping of course.
I went out in my skinny jeans and aldo's like in the pictures above. I went to dsw, Nordstrom rack, macys and aldo looking for heels. I had to walk all the way across the mall to get from macys to aldo. As i walked into aldo the sales women was all dressed up and wearing a similar pair of heels and she immeditly said that she loved my outfit. She was all excited to help and talk with me, she was definitely giving me more attention then the other women who came in while i was there. It was a great expierence
They didnt have anything that really cought my eye (besides the sales lady) so i left. Stopped into a few other stores looking for a mid thigh short skirt to maybe pair with my heels. Didnt have much luck this time of year.
All in all i was walking around shopping for about 5 hours! Had a great time, with no negative comments. Im hopefully going to get back out friday to finish up my christmas shopping wearing the same outfit

Very cool - I just don't quite have the stones for a pair of pumps like those yet. Maybe some day!
Likely not obvious that someone noticed them, but if they do, I would guess that 99% of people would simply look and not make any kind of fuss about it. Think about seeing someone from say 30 feet away, where your glance gets the entire person - would be pretty hard to not see the shoes. But they are not going to come running over to you laughing or stand there and point, hoot and holler. They will see what they will see, and go on their merry way!
@RonC just listen to everything you just said to me.. just wear those pumps out! "Everyone will go on their merry way!"

@RonC thank you for your kind words.
I love the toe cleavage on these as well! They are actually quite comfortable even though the toe box is pretty small with a very pointed toe.

Finding a better outer jacket can make the whole outfit look spectacular.
Yea i was kinda thinking of looking for a different jacket. But right now its what i have so it will have to work.

Thank you both for the kind words!
It really was quite the thrill to get out in heels and skinny jean. I hope to do it again soon.

When i ordered my aldos i also ordered a pair of nine west from macys. The aldos were a better fit a way better looking.
So went to macys to return them. I decided to wear my new aldos with my new super skinny jeans, black t and peacoat. Besides the cashier and the one woman trying on shoes i dont think anyone even noticed. The aldos are almost silent compared to my booties i have.
All in all it was a nerve wacking trip since it was my first time in skinny jeans and heels in public. But it was also fun and exciting.
Here is a picture i took in macys. Ignore the filthy mirror.

Well over the weekend with all the black friday deal going on i bought a pair of black leather pumps at aldo (stessy). Just waiting for them to come in as i had to order my size in the black leather. I got to try them on in the store but they only had patent nude in my size.
After that i was wondering around macys and ended up buying a pair of levi's super skinny jeans. Im thinking that once the shoes come in im going to try and make that the next outfit i get out in!
I will post some picture once they come in

Great job buddy! It sure is frustrating seeing nice heels while shopping only to find out they don't have larger sizes....
Yes it is. Although Macys, DSW and Aldo said they could order size 11 in any shoe the stock. I was just hoping to walk out with something that day.

@Jeremy1986 im looking for a basic black leather pump and or black leather boot probly ankle to calf height. Both preferably in the 4.25 to 5 inch heel range. The booties i have now are a 4 inch heel and i would like something a little taller without a platform. Also im not really a fan of the chunky heel i tend to like the stiletto look much much more.
Before yesterday i havnt really started looking

Today was a very good day of heeling!
Ive been really wanting a new pair of heels lately. So today i went shopping!
Wearing the same outfit as my last outing i decided today i was going to find some new heels. I drove to a mall about 30 minutes away and started at macys at one end of the mall. They had a good selection but the few i was interested in they didnt have my size in stock. So i walked through the mall (busiest place ive been in heels) to aldo which just happens to be at the other end of the mall. There was enough noise in the mall that my heels were no where as loud as they were in macys. As i walked into aldo, the sales lady immediately saw my shoes and smiled asking if i was looking for anything inpaticular. Again they didnt have my size in the shoes i was interested in. Although they offered to order my size.
After that i left the store and walked back through the mall and macys to my car. Still not finding any new heels i decided to go to dsw and Nordstrom rack but again didnt really find what i was looking for.
At this point i am determined to find some new heela today. So about another 30 minutes away is a large aldo outlet, the one in the mall isnt an outlet.
Off i go driving to the next outlet. By the time i got there it was dark and not very many cars in the lot. So into aldo i went! Walked around serching the clearance section as the sales lady came over checking in on me. Asked what size im looking for (11) as she informed that they dont get to many 11s in and that she wishes they had more because she also wears an 11. Then she started to bring out evey size 11 they had in the store! I was so overwhelmed with how excited she was getting helping me and seeing me walk with ease in the highest pair of heels they had. Which were a pair of platform strappy sandals (elyni i believe) with about a 5 inch heel and about an inch platform. They were very comfortable and a joy to wear but i couldnt justify buying them since they wernt what i was looking for.
All in all it was a fantastic day, i tried on more heels than i ever have and had a great time walking around aldo with the sales women enjoying it as much as i was. I will deffinitly go back!
Can't wait for the next adventure!

Well i got out again tonight. (same outfit)
i went shopping at kohls and tjmax, i didn't see anyone notice me click clacking around. I was headed home and remembered i also needed to stop by walmart. i was going to change into sneakers in the parking lot because walmart is uaually pretty busy, but when i pulled in the was only about 10 cars in the lot. So i decided to go in in my heels. I picked up the few things i needed and headed to cash out. On my way out a women alittle younger than me probably early 20s stoped me and told me she loved my shoes! I was so nervous as she was the first person to talk to me/really notice, but the nerves quickly turned into a very happy "Thank you!" After that i paid and left.
I never knew how great a compliment could feel!
Adventure #2 also successful!

Ive been a member here for years but i never really participated much.
Ive been getting back into my love for heels and i ended back here reading everyone's experiences about wearing heels in public.
I decided i was going to go out! I decided i will go to a DSW a few towns away. So i got out my nine west black leather booties with about a 4.5 inch heel and a half inch platform and a pair of jeans that cover all but about a half inch of the heel. I got dressed and headed out. Drove 30 min to DSW and parked, sat in the parking lot for a few minutes trying to muster up the courage to get out. Eventually i said screw and just got out of my car and walked into the store. There were maybe 5 people in the store, no one seemed to notice me besides the one sales women who told me all their sizes are on display but they can order other sizes. I didn't really see anything the i had to have, but i did try one a few different heels and walked around in them untill i found the next pair i wanted to try. I ended up leaving and since no one really noticed and all went well i decided to go to Nordstrom rack right down the road.
Took me a few minutes to get out of the car again. But i did and went into the back of the store. Unlike DSW's carpet floors Nordstrom has tile floors so my heels were quite loud and i noticed a few women who looked up when they heard me getting close. I browsed through the shoes but didnt see anything for me or my girlfriend. I saw one girl about my age (mid 20s) look down and smiled when she saw my shoes of course i smiled back but that was as far as it went. So i walked out of the store and back to my car. And headed home
First time out in heels was a huge sucess. I wish i would have done this sooner!

Thanks, RonC
I was out for 5 hours but by no means standing or walking for all of it. There was probly a half hour of driving around mixed in there and maybe another 30-40 minutes of sitting down eating lunch.
Either way i was still impressed that only the tops of my toes were sore along the top edge of the toe box. I think if there wasnt such a low cut toe box then i wouldnt have been sore. But i love the toe cleavage so its all worth it!
