Got out for a little shopping trip last night, bought some new lighter blue skinny jean's. I think they go better with more colors than my darker pair.

Haha not really. The colors were a bit odd looking in the picture. So black and white fixed that.

Went and did grocries last night

I just scored a pair of nine west wedge knee boots and a pair of aldo ankle boots for $10 each at a local thrift store. Both new never worn

She knows about 3 pairs that I have (not about the two new boots) and have worn around the house. She kinda just laughed when I told her. But she did once say it's a turn off for her as she thinks of heels as being very feminine.

We have talked briefly but sometime soon I will bring it up again, in more detail.

It may look it but I am not the musician. That would be my girlfriend, she is the talented one in that department.

Yes I would say I fall into that category. I'm not trying to crossdress and look like a woman I'm just more accessorizing my heels

She knows about a few of my heels and I will eventually tell her about the rest of it. I know my desire won't diminish since its only been getting stronger over the past 10 years or so.

Yea I suppose you are right. They just happen to go into the same bag my skirts and pantyhose are in so that's partly why she hasn't seen them. This pair happens to be a womens pair of jeans, I haven't shopped for mens skinny jean's yet.

I personally don't have any heels that are very masculine. I have a few pairs of stilettos 4-5 inch and a pair of 6 inch wedges. But no low heeled shoes or chunky heels. I'm just not attracted to them.  

I've been trying to find different ways to wear heels more regularly. I was kinda hoping I would get some ideas from this thread when I made it.

I like where this thread is headed so far and I'm curious to see where it leads!

Well right now she tolerates them. She doesn't know I've worn them out and she doesn't know about my skirts and skinny jean's yet. But in due time. She can't understand why I like to wear them (even though she has about 30 pairs of heels) I'm struggling to explain to her why I do...

I'm thinking these will be my next purchase. I found them at a Nordstrom rack nearby and I think will look great under my normal jean's for a more masculine look or with my skinny jean's for the more freestyle approach

It's been a while, but I did get out today just long enough to go do grocries. I saw a woman from afar who was wearing some 4 inch pumps, I watched look me up and down from probly 60 feet away, she immediately started walking directly towards me. When she got close enough she said she "loved my heels, they are so sexy!" She asked where I got them and we had a small talk about heels. It was pretty great.

After the "show us your girliest heels" thread I thought we should see the other side of the spectrum. 

So let's all show off our most masculine heels here!

Like you and many others here, I had an attraction to gals shoes since I was a kid, dunno why. 

When I went away to school, I was able to explore wearing gals shoes freely (back then mostly flats), in public even. During that time I met a wonderful gal who eventually became my wife. She was OK with the gals flats and we even had matching sandals. We talked about my attraction to fem shoes and she accepted that. After about 15 years of marriage I caught the high heel bug. The wife was generally OK with that too but she did have some concerns which we address. 

The “free, unsolicited advice,” tell the gf early on, talk about it, better now that later to alleviate any issues in the future.

That's sf. She already knows about my heels and says she is ok with it. But I can tell she isn't completely ok with it. She doesn't know I have worn them out of the house though. 

She loves heels probly has at least 30 pairs including a couple CL. So I think we can eventually find the middle ground. Just not there yet

I've been trying to come up with an answer to this question ever since the topic was started.. I haven't had much luck. But here goes anyway

For me my story is kinda like a few of yours. I grew up always sneaking into my mom's and grandmothers closet to wear their heels. But that only lasted so long until I quickly outgrew their size 7 shoes.  And then there was a long gap until I get got my license! Then I could finally get my own pair of heels! 

I went to a nine west outlet nearby and bought what I thought might be the right size (turns out i was wrong) I went back and exchanged them the next day. I had myself a pair of little black ankle booties with a 4 inch heel! I would wear them around the house every time I was alone. I couldn't get enough.

Soon I started walking around town at night because the house was getting boring. I did that for a few year and I didn't buy my second pair for probly another 6 or 7 years.  Now I've moved all The way up to 5 pairs of new heels, skinny jeans and a few skirts that I've worn out in public. ( which can be seen in "my first public adventure" thread) 

I still don't really know why I like heels so much but I absolutely love the feeling it brings to wear them at home and in public. It's such a satisfying feeling the be walking around in my stilettos. I wish I could do it more! and I hope I can find a way to explain all this to my gf so she can try and accept it and maybe understand it better

For me its a pair of ballet pumps but I never really have the time to practice in them. :/ other than that I have a pair of wedges with a 4.75 inch rise that I've worn 7-8 hours at a time.

I want my next purchase to be in the 5.5-6 inch single sole range

Yes they are 6 inches, about 1.5 inch platform

Well its been awhile  but i finally got back out in my new lace up sandals. I went for a quick trip to aldo in the mall and ended up buying a pair of wedgs and wore them out of the store! Here are a few pics of each of them

Its been alittle while since ive been out or updated this thread so here goes!

I got out today and did a little shopping while my girlfriend was at work wearing black tee shirt, off green kinda tight  strait leg mens pants that ended right at the top of the heel of my aldos so most of my heels were exposed. I got a couple compliments to brighten up my day

I ended up buying a pair of steve madden lace up sandals from nordstom rack. I will try to get some pictures up soon!

Im glad to hear that you are! And i looked up those heels.. i just might have to order a pair! Ive been looking the get something above the 5 inch mark maybe closer to 6 inches.
