  1. I posted yes as I would imagine women to have the same "Am I gonna fall, etc" fears. But, in my mind, they probably have less variety of fears as they can easily go out in public from a society-acceptance standpoint.

  2. If you are going to wear your high heels in the open then you do need to think about what you're gonna wear them with.

    Benno,

Though you can be a bit "rough" in how you get your point across (I am used to it, however, having loads of Brit friends..LOL), this one quote above (and your earlier proddings) has really got me thinking for the better.

    Thanks!

  3. Thigh Booter, I feel for you, man. Guessing there's so many things that are good about your marraige to "put up" with the bad, it's still bad to "have" to supress feelings that you have known forever. I do have to seriously question anyone who would deny the person they love what makes them extremely happy, especially since doing so does NOT hurt anyone! I just don't see why anyone would want to "force" the onces they "love" to supress their love... Dr Shoe, Can you PLEASE have a party across the pond aver here??

  4. While I haven't had the money to buy "quality" items as Benno posted (Thanks for the link, Benno), I have been "pleased" with pleasers so far. They seem to make a "true" size 10 which fits me all the time, meaning less worries about buying on-line (or off of other HHPlace friends!). I know, even with different styles, I'll get a shoe that fits. As for the arch supports and quality of Pleasers? Well, They feel better than other "market" brands (again, I don't make much money), and for reasonable costs. If I ever get back to the UK, shopping for shoes will be a must (as will, hopefully, be wearing them). I will certainly check out the link carefully, as in first glance, the Leatherworks look very nice. But at near $200 per pair, I'd rather be in the UK trying them on than to "hope" they fit..LOL Hope Pleaser isn't thinning selection.

  5. LOL I am sure it all depends on the body type of the wearer (guess only). I am a big guy, with small dainty feet, so I would "assume" I would come down with more foot problems than most. So far...so good (knocking on wood). But, my knees hyperextend, which offsets the spine curving effects of heels to a point, so this is an advantage, I believe. No knee problems (really knocking on wood, now). Too many variables, I think.

  6. Nicely done Daniel! Hoping to wear in some shoes shopping this weekend. That way, I can see what the clothes I buy will look like with my new shoes... I am saying that now, but I hope I won't chicken out when I park near the store door.. Johnnie, Good stuff! Comfortable, yet wear the heels well. Elegant, How your aim was when you dressed like that certainly comes across in all your posts. Nicely done. I like all 3 last looks. I think the biggest factor in all 3 is the fact that, though very different, all 3 seem very "at ease" and comfortable. Ready to go out! Thanks all!
