Nick, how tall of a heel do you feel comfortable in? Does your significant other approve? I love the way heels feel and the restriction I have walking in tall heels. I'm not sure if I want my bf in heels.

What if your boyfriend was more confident, looked and dressed better, and was much happier while occasionally in heels?

Delta Goodrem in black t-bar platform YSL Tributes

Delta Goodrem appears at Vitaminwater's MBL All-Star Week celebration wearing 6" high YSL Tributes on the 14th of July. Other stars spotted in these shoes include both of the Minogues, Kylie in particular having worn them in black, maroon and gold!

Missing the point. It's obviously not that they should be forbidden to do anything, but rather that it's quite cowardly to just do it that openly in parades like this and not in everyday occasions.

I'm not sure if I agree. I can see where you're coming from, but...

Let's put it this way, I go out in 5-6" heels to clubs, with friends, and enjoy myself immensely. But, I would have a tough time feeling even close to as "free" during "everyday occasions" (ie, everyday life like you think these people should dress, also). Is this cowardly?

Thanks everyone! gwl1, My ex GF wasn't surprised, she knew when we lived together before I met my ex-wife. Matter of fact, she told me she still had my 7" Pleasers (with 2" plat) at her house... Ex wife actually thought it "funny" at first, but saw how much fun I was having, and remarked that she's never seen me enjoy myself this much...nor as confident as I was! But, she wasn't feeling great by a bit after midnight, so they left soon after. Too bad, that was when the most fun happened..LOL I've talked to the ex wife since (to go see my son), and she said both want to try it again in a few weeks!

Interesting point. I actually always wore them, but generally after I saw a beautiful pair on some random lady at some random place. When seeing them being worn, I remembered how great they look, feel, and sound...then I had to go get some for myself!

I know they're too low and wide heeled for many of our members, but for me, they're great, comfortable, shoes. And my back feels great today.

Then they are perfect (actually quite nice looking!)! Thanks for the story, and I agree...most places list a 41 as a US 11 when they are much smaller!

Thanks everyone! Really enjoyable night out... I guess it's much easier to go out and be myself with good friends! Dawn, If I'm gonna keep my face shaved, I need to lose 15 more lbs..

Oh...shows how much I use metric for height..LOL Yep, 182cm then. But, still size 40-41 (depends on make).. I can assure Patent's avatar is his. Noone else has legs like that.
