  1. An amazing occurrence - my wife and I were out of the country on vacation and we had been (or I should say I have been talking) about black toe nail polish for men (since I saw it somewhere on the net) and a nail tech suggested red or black that I wanted to do but the wife said no.

Anyway, I had brought along black that I had recently bought and she was okay with it (figuring that no one would see). Well, a few days later we went to the beach and the group we were with probably did see - not a word from her!

    Progress can be made!!!!!!!

  2. I always shave my legs (and other places too as I can't stand the body hair). I have been doing clear nail polish for about a year and a half now and have finally graduated to black toe nail polish. I have a thin white gold bracelet that I'm going to convert to an anklet soon.

And I go out like that with appropriate weather.

  3. If you think about it, it really is intuitive! The heel will brace against the pedal (or if you are riding a horse, the stirrup) and thus braces you against the forward motion of the machine (or animal). And further, in the case of the bicycle, will assist you in providing power to the pedal itself in the cycle.

A significant heel should really be required to ride!

  4. White boots are great! What makes them interesting is that they are such a stand out color. I have about four pairs of white boots right now;

    thigh high patent

    knee high lace up platform

    white knee high leather

    white knee high stretch.

I applaud your courage in public!

  5. So, it is also depending on the maker and brand? There's a few shoes I can fit at a size 10 women's, despite I'm size 10 1/2 in men's. As I said, only a few I can fit at that size, and very few I can fit at a smaller women's size.

Your feet must hurt a lot! I'm a US 10.5 mens with a AA/B width. I average between a womens US 11 and US 12 depending upon socks, hose, etc. But some 11s are cut small (i.e. Steve Madden particularly) that are tight or even too tight to wear (I'm going to have to sell those). Given the average 2 plus size (which is only a guide anyway), the 10 should really be too small for you no matter how you do it. I'm sure that an 11 would be the smallest that you could go for a proper fit and the 12 for the largest.

  6. Why wear heels in public? For me, it all boils down to simple enjoyment, how women's shoes affects my senses in three distinct ways:

Sight: The styling of women's shoes ... it's difficult not to look at myself when I've got heels on.

Sound: That wonderfully sharp sound excites me...

Feel: The almost decadent caress of a genuine leather pump

Now, what I would add to JeffB's comment is let's not forget women's boots, especially the tight tailored kind (stiletto preferred). That is an additional sensation beyond just the pump!!

  7. For me, heels make me feel sexy, taller, more confident. It also has the element of the forbidden; going where you're not supposed to be going, crossing that fashion barrier so that a man's boring shoes/boots are replaced by great looking, sexy stuff.

This is along the same lines as Alicia and Ninanoora that heels seem to equal sex appeal and power.

  8. Magickman said, "I bought a pair of those Nine West Gallivant boots, just like Boot King.

Why would I want to hide beautiful boots like that under jeans?

Knee high, stiletto boots deserve to be displayed and seen."

    AGREED!!!
