Here, Here! Our shoe selections are boring and very limited and it is up to us to use our dollar (or pounds and euros) power to get what we want from the designers and manufacturers.

Ah yes, that too; thigh high boots with hot pants, ooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

To die for, really!!!!!!!!

I had to get my car from the long term parking at the airport. To do that, I had to take a train and two buses to do so. I had these boots with me and had planned on changing in the car to go home but instead, found the opportunity on the last bus as the rear area had cleared out. So, I wore the Steve Madden leather boots with the 3" blade heel to get off the bus and walked past the terminal and into the long term lot to get the car (a long and pleasant walk in boots). At least one of the outside terminal employees noticed but didn't make any remarks.

I then went and got gas on the way home (pumped by the attendant) but stopped in Connecticut on the parkway to go to the rest room, still wearing the boots. I know that one of the employees was staring and I know that some other men noticed, but, oh well....... I was going to make another stop but was tired and went straight home.

That was a charge!

My wife is not a fan of my wearing women's footwear by any means, although she tolerates it somewhat at home. She does not want to see it in the car, out in the street, etc. etc. and makes it quite clear how she feels about it. So, in the interest of not having major marriage problems (and getting my jollies at home in boots) I don't push the outside stuff.

We were at an out of state outlet mall and walked into Nine West. She started to look at the pumps and I gravitated to the boots (my passion) and looked for my size (US 11 or 12). The first boots were between ankle and calf height, probably 4" stiletto heel, black leather and very smart looking. Well they had a pair of Size 11 and on sale for $29.95! There were no tall ones that I liked in my size. She settled on a pair of blue open toe pumps and I kept looking at the boots. She said that I should buy them for her and admire her in them; I said that you already have two Victoria Secret pairs just like that, one with two buckles and straps on the shaft and one without so that made no sense AND they didn't have her size in these either! I told her I was going to buy the boots and she said no, I said yes and finally she let me buy them even though she wasn't happy about it! So, I bought the 7.5 pumps for her and the 11 boots for me. The salesgirl just rang them up with not a word or expression out of the way. She was concerned about the girl and I told her that I'm sure that she didn't care, didn't know whether the boots were for me, for some woman relative or whatever.

My wife and I had some discussions about it after (I kissed her for letting me buy them with her) but she doesn't understand it and she is perplexed about it. I simply told her that I've had this fetish since I was around 10 or so, it doesn't go away, you can't fix it, etc. etc. But the end result is that I had my jollies in my new pointy stiletto leather boots!

Not out with them yet (other than inside my car) but it is only a matter of time, not whether it will happen.

Your boot is the "Gallivant" style and came in a few varieties (smooth, patterned) and knee and calf height. They are beautiful boots, especially in the smooth, knee high style. ENJOY!!!

I normally work alone and was wearing 3" block heels with laceup ankle boots at the office when the door opened and one of my assistants (who works miles away) came in. Happily, I was seated at my desk (a U shape) and didn't have to get up so he didn't see them. He finally went out and that was great!

But it gave me pause for thought as I'm really not alone and I'm not ready to deal with any BS about it.

I was going to work last night (alone for a change) and had changed my regular work shoes for a pair of Steve Madden black leather boots with a 3" stiletto heel. I stopped for gas and at the same time, another car pulled in driven by a young blonde girl. As this was self service, we both pumped from different pumps on the same island. I just went about my business, clicking away starting and finishing (the heel was quite visible as these pants were not made for heels and didn't cover them). I know that she looked but certainly didn't stare. We both then went our way.

It does get easier as time goes on.

I think other than the thrill of doing something that "you're not supposed to," such as wearing clothes of the opposite sex, you can clearly see that they are tailored better, the materials are stretchier and more comfortable and better looking too.

Even the men's skinny jeans of which I have a few are not quite as form fitting as the women's. And unless they are embroidered, etc. no one knows the difference. I had a pair of women's jeans when I was a teen (mine were wet and my friend's sister was about the same size except they were tight in the waist). They looked so good that I literally wore them out.

I can only suggest that honesty is the best policy. If you tell her up front what your fetishes/desires are, then she has a choice to accept or not. But once you have a real relationship and plans and she doesn't know, that's not fair and not nice.

Now the other day, my wife made an offhand remark about some thigh high boots and pantyhose on the bed (we had just come back from out of town). Now whether she was serious or not, I really don't know, but I said to her, "You married me that way - so...." And that was the end of the story!

I found the question a little difficult to answer. I would say that my purchases are fairly split between the "exotic" and the "normal." Now the "exotic" I would characterize and the 5" plus heels that are quite familiar to us, the Pleaser/Highest Heel/Little Shoe Box, etc. But what I would consider "normal" is the brand name stuff, Steve Madden, Nine West, Colin Stuart/Victoria Secret that are the mainstream things although some of their items are borderline exotic in my opinion. So although I voted "designer" I would have preferred a "brand name" option.

The attached pics illustrate the problem! The white ones are "exotic" but to me, the gold ones are also and they're Victoria's Secret. The red ones are exotic to me too, but they are also Victoria's Secret. Unfortunately, the red ones are too wide in the calf for me, but they're a size 11 on eBay for a few more hours for those with an exotic bent!!!
