  1. Just went to the local subway here in Clemmons NC with my orange pumps and SU shirt. Lots of fun and definately out there with the color. My wife and I are big Syracuse Orange fans and today is the semi-final NCAA men's B-Ball game and of course I have to wear these. It was a lot of fun. One customer leaving when I went in did a classic double take as she rentered to re-assure herself of what she had just seen. If SU makes it to the finals I may just wear these to work. My wife was not with me for this trip. Lets go Orange Joe

  2. I have to disagree too. I have noticed women always look down. I have been told many times by women that shoes tell a lot about the wearer. Clean well taken care of shoes say a lot about the guy. As such I have rarely ventured in heels without being noticed. Of course my heels are clean and well cared for.

  3. High heels will always be in. The fashion industry has not really done anything truely new in 50 years they simply repeat previous trends and pat themselves on the back for being forward thinking. Pointed toes have come gone and come again. Block heels same. Kittens same. Spikes same.

  4. Love the look. I have worn heels several times as well never red though. It's a natural thing for your feet to swell. You're sitting in the same position for an extended period combined with lower air pressure. I always wear a pair that is normally a bit looser.

  5. 5"with no platform is my normal max. I honestly love the look artistically of high heels. Doesn't matter if worn by a man or woman. I will state that in my size 11 anything higher than about 5.25" actually begins to look out of place, a bit cartooonish. Once the angle passes 45-50 degrees they shoes lose any atristic form in my opinion.
