None, the 70'S was in my opinion the worst decade in the history of fashion for either men or women.

Freestyle75 that's why I refer to it as an addiction. I have worn each pair but I have an insatiable appetite for sexy shoes. I don't spend anywhere near the kind of cash you do as the most expensive pair I have cost me $175 and those were over the knee leather stiletto boots. Less than half of my shoes are actually leather too.
I don't wear clothes from the other side of the aisle, I'm not really interested and pretty sure they wouldn't go well with my beard. I simply love heels.
I do keep them in a UV free zone and they seem to hold up pretty good.

It will take me a few years to sell, maybe I should do a Ynotme thing and post each pair as I list them. I won't link the sale but would be neat otherwise.

I understand the desire to buy shoes that are styled to your liking. But, it is really too bad you can only one pair at a time and most pairs in your collection won't ever become worn out. Now, if you wore heels out and about as your regular footwear, then you might more pleasure from owning them.
I do have several pair that are or are being worn out. The addiction stems from always finding another must have pair. But when all is said and done there are about 20 or so that I usually end up wearing out and about. Over about a year that 20 pair is replaced with another 20 pair and then they become the sentimental ones.

I dont see the problem!
I've got about 85 pair at the moment so can't comprehend a collection of that size though. Usually when I get bored with a pair or they don't fit as well as I thought I sell them or give them to my friend. She's gotten about 15 pairs or so over the years. There's a few that I don't wear but can't get rid of for sentimental reasons.
Sentimental reasons is what got me into this predicament in the first place. Give it some time you may yet be in my shoes, no pun intended.

I guess by the early responses that with this crew, which I count myself as one, I really don't have too many. Either way I will be selling off about 200 pair. As I said I really do seem to stick to about 75 pair that I mostly wear.
I wear a size 10 to 11 depending on the fit.

I finally decided take stock in my current inventory of heels. The 1st picture is my closet which represents the shoes I wear most frequently. The remaining are the huge stock that I still wear from time to time but not very often. This result has got me thinking how many really is too many? I do believe I have surpassed that point. I now have 360 pair of shoes and boots. Of those likely 120 are 5" or above, pretty much all I wear any more, 50 or so are less the 4", and the rest somewhere in between. I guess I am addicted to high heels, stilettos specifically. I keep telling myself at least its not drugs.
I always buy and sell but have really gone over the edge. Many (most) of the shoes pictured will make it to E-Bay over the next couple years and at a pretty good bargain. The brands 1969 (my current favorite), Pleaser, Nine West, and Guess make up about 50-75% of my stock, the rest are all over the place.

Yes, there are many amazing youtube videos featuring guys in great boots!
Really, I must have missed the guys. Surprises me that he doesn't like the comments, I'm guessing there are a lot of fetish comments but still it's YouTube not sure what he was expecting.

Agreed, when I buy from Italian heels I need to order 41 not 42 like this brand. Also Italian heels leather, although of good quality, seems to run a bit thinner and as such the shoes seem to stretch more, even to the point where the quickly lose there original shape. Case in point below. Italianheels on left - 1969 on right.

Classic Pump. Love the look. What size and brand? And, did you buy them on line or go to a store and try them on before you bought them?
They are size 42, and all fit uniformly. The brand is 1969, leather shoes made in Italy but sold via e-bay store from Germany. I initially bought 1 pair in 41, my normal size and they were too small. I wore them for a week before I decided they would not stretch enough and purchased each additional pair in 42.

An update - I am currently at 17 pairs, 15 of the basic almond toe style, all amazing fit, 1 pair of the long toe style, and one pair of the almond toed boots.
These shoes are not only sexy, they are flat out comfortable. Had comments wearing my blue patent pumps last Friday night with short jeans, all great of course.
The long toed pumps are slightly lower in height 5" vs 5.25" but I just don't like the way the longer toe drags when walking.

My wife and I have made our own wine for years. Cork is NOT an oxygen barrier so the rubberized plastic corks have taken over. Wine has never been meant to be served more than just a few years after bottling, white wine more than red. The greatest B.S. ever played on mankind outside the diamond industry is old wine is automatically better than young wine, it is in fact just the opposite.

Seat height is the same whether in flats or heels as no matter what shoe you use, you pedal with the front of your foot. The picture above either way is great.

Macky love those zipper boots. What is the brand.

Right now your OK like bnchmrk. But ultimately if she wants them gone and you can't part with them and end up having to hide this from her, then it's only doom for your marriage. Nobody wants that.

Been to Paris more than once on business. It's a hopping place and those are very low key. i would be very surprised if anyone even noticed. And if they do, who cares, not you know these people.

I feel for you. My wife knew from day one when we met, and to this point no issues. Like you, I just enjoy the heels and wear them in "male" mode exclusively. So far no issues and I have worn them among her friends and co-workers often. However, I do keep my fingers crossed our situation does not follow the path yours seems to traveling now. Good luck and best wishes, we all know how heels are wired into us and dropping them entirely, if it comes to that, will be difficult.

A shame he passed but really not very original shoes. Just basic stripper shoes on extra high platforms. Not very creative.

Very nice boots but alas, your hiding them under jeans.

They are nice, but I disagree with your comment TBG. The look is great, he's not hiding them. Rarely even women wear jeans relatively shorter than he is and that's fine. Sit down and the entire shoe portion plus about 4 inches of the shaft would be visible, even more with legs crossed. I know a lot of guys here like to wear there jeans tucked in but really that's not all that comfortable inn my opinion.

It's a shame that whenever one of these guys does g this sort of thing they don't have a clue on how to walk in heels having never worn them and always wear the most difficult and goofy styles possible making the experience that much more difficult.

On the Oxford ankle boots are those the 5 or 5.5 inch heels. I am thinking of ordering a pair and really like the heel on the ones you have on.
-
Honesty most of worked up to it. But we all pretty much just took a dive, realized it wasn't a big deal an then haven't stopped since. Good luck, however if you really are only wearing them because you have to and not because you want to then I think you'll struggle some.
