  1. I like the idea, the heels are wisely all the same height so the angles are correct for the center and vamp no matter which heel you use. The assembly with the tree-panned grooves is very stong, maybe even stronger than the pins and nails mentioned above. The release button is inside the sole just forward of the foot's heel, meaning it should be out of the way enough to not be uncomrftable when wearing and likely wont just release. Only real issue I see mechanically is dirt and grime. Water will likely penetrate the inside of the shoe from the bottom up as there a hole needed for the mechanism, so don't step in a puddle.

  2. I have to admitt I love wearing my heels, public and otherwise, and love seeing others (always women) in theirs, but I must be honest it is a bit creepy to photo someone without their knowledge. I'm sure being a guy in heels, both with my wife present and otherwise, I have been shot more than once and am glad I did not see someone doing it. People, even in public, do have some expectation of privacy. I'm at least glad you did not picture her face.

  3. I hve two pair of Rosa heels, both purchased pre-owned via ebay, they were in great condition. I have since worn one of the heel tip down. I contacted Rosa about replacements, noted to them I was a male. They were polite and applauded my deal I got via e-bay (about 50% of original price) but offered no assistance in aquirring replacement tips, stated they only help those who buy directly from them. Although a poor business attitude I did not get a negative impression from them that I, a male, was wearing their design. I have used basic 1/8" tips since. They have a unique tip design but it is not well made and will wear down quickly. Anyone here know where I could get steel replacements? They are two individuals as by benno above. They have only a coupe basicdesigns that are then packaged in pumps and boots. They are manufactured in Italy. Regards.

  4. Just about everything, I put siding on my house while in 4.5" heels last weekend. I have done just about anything or everything I have ever done in sneakers while in heels. I do not play golf in them for obvious reasons although I have hit my clubs in practive often. I even used to skate my snow covered driveway, sloped toward the main road, when I still lived in Syracuse NY. You guys up north, try it, a light snow covering, get a bit of a run, bend your knees slightly and lean just a bit back on the heels, you will slide for 50-60 feet on just the slightest slope. It is actually quite fun.

  5. There is a topic in the women's forum about nude shoes (sorry ladies but this one needs to be expanded). The question is: nude shoes, here to stay? Sadly, I think the answer is yes. Might as well wear flip flops. We all love feet in this group. Heels in general accent them so there is no doubt. But, I for one think that the most attractive clothing, shoes or otherwise, leave a little question or wonder. Nude is almost never better than almost nude, as it lets the observer fill in the blanks which is usually better than reality. Any solid color with a touch of exposure wether it be open toes, low cut vamps (the best in my personal opinion), low sides, etc are almost always sexier than the bare foot. Last time I went to a nude beach was just that, the last time.

  6. Do not be offended but 2" is not really heels. Most people hear the heels but typically focus on the toe box. Were your low heels pointed or rounded? Rounded 2" heels would not really look uncommon to most people as they don't lift you very much or change your gait.

  7. I don't think any one woud be here on this forum if we didn't have some sense of heels in our thoughts. As for me, all the time. I have always taken pleasure in seeing a fine pair of heels, male or female wearer. I am drawn to the artistic shape and since wearing my first pair (30 years ago) I have some fixation. I own 25 times more heels then any other type of footware and I don't appologize for it.

  8. I have no problem going back and forth, I wear flats and heels every day. I also wear sneakers a lot as I play a lot of golf and heels just don't work so well. It is not benificial to only wear heels or only wear flats. I know plenty of women who only wear flats and as such have fallen arches. "Womens" flats tend to have no arch support where as "mens" flats usually do. Sneakers almost always have some arch support and are rarely flat throughout the foot bed.

  9. I have always preferred thinner heels, I feel they are much easier to walk in, less clumsy and have far better balance. The result of the more stable gait to me is likely to draw less attention to the fact that I am walking with no undue effort. Also my problem with plaforms is they have no bend on the ball of the foot and tend to make me, people in general, more bouncy when walking. I will always prefer the thinner stiletto style, 4-4.75" hell with classic soles. I do have some 5" and higher heels that seem to walk OK but my stride becomes much shorter and again unnatural.

  10. Generally the worst looking shoes I have ever seen. I always considered the time between 1969 and 1982 as the ultimate black hole of both womens fashion and heels. I did like to wear (the feel) of my 3" Hush Puppy loafers my parents bought me when i was a kid. Back then heel height at least to 3" was not considered odd for men, but I still did not like the looks. Platforms today are only better because they at least have narrow heels. Heels should never be as wider or even wider than the shoe itself.

  11. I just moved from Upstate NY (Syracuse) to North Carolina (W-S) and had to pack, 9 banke'rs boxes (200 pair or so). I decided my heel lust, wearing and fetish (my wife and I use our heels for plenty of fun), is just simply got to cut back some. I have been buying and selling on ebay for a long time but decided to sell 4 for 2 for the next several years to cut my supply. I love heels, can't seem to have too many but alas I do. Surprising how hard it is to decide which ones I should let go. There are so many guys on ebay buying my size 10 and 11 heels, 5 to 1 men over women but I have not mentioned this site, figured best to just let them move "forward" in piece.

  12. I have never once seen someone snap a cell pic of me, but honestly I have never looked close enough to others to notice. I have worn my heels in public for 20 yrs and have yet to see someone follow me for more than anything other than they happen to be going in the same direction or heading to the same place. I figure, when I am out, if I walk past someone not expecting to see a guy in sexy heels they simple would not have the time to react without being obvious themselves.
