Two more purchases from Steve Madden. I have to say they are really tunring out some winners right now. I just left two reviews, one for the Invade style (black pumps) and one for the Darrt style. I mentioned my name and my ittent as well as the pictures below, we;ll see if S-M posts them or not, The Invades have very sexy and narrow sike heels. They are non plaformed and measure 5.25" for size 10 yet are surprisingly easy to walk in. I am sure I will need to replace the heel tips quickly as the diameter for plastic is too small to support my 167 lbs frame for very long. These need some wearing to get the fit right but I can tell they will conform quickly. They are leather and maybe a bit pricy but if I don't abuse them I expect to have them for some time. The Darrts featire a 1/2" very well hidden platform on the same height heel. Ther are sexy as well and maybe a bit better made. The leather uppers are heavier. These will require more time to wear in but I expect to have them for many many years. Joe

I have a few pair from Italian Heels. They are amazingly sexy and fit very well but there is a downside in my oppinion. The leather soles are very soft and wear very rapidly, too fast for the price. They are lovely but I will need to have a sole added by a cobbler to protect my investment.

I went ahead and risked it and bought these jems. They are small on me and I thought they would be, I reasoned that since they are leather (uppers) they will conform better. I squeezed into them Friday after I got them, wore them for about 2 hrs Friday. Yesterday I wore them for about 4 hrs off and on during they day, wore my sneakers most of the day as I am doing a remodeling job. Today I've had them on since I got up and am wearing them as I write this post 6hrs so far. It is my pleasure to anounce that they have stretched some already and my feet seem to enjoy the feel. Now for the paticulars not mentioned on Madden's web page, in size 10 the heel actually measures 5.5", the platorm is about .5 to .75" thick (hard to actually measure) the sole thickness under the heel is about .25" thick. Making these serious 5 inch heels. Amazing for Steve Madden. The heel is chrome covered plastic, only time will tell if the structure is satisfactory but for now they are really fun. My wife was turned on by them as well. The heel tip is very soft and quiet on the hard flooring. It will wear quickly so get some spare tips. I have over 100 spares in my bin, including a dozen steel. These will get stell tips if the heel does not loosen up. Photos below.

I have found the heel mounted back behind my own heel will quickly damage due to the load being poorly distributed. I prefer the comfort of the heel in line with my foot to be easier to walk in all other things being equal.

Ellie is all plastic. Jantes has a nice fitting real leather non patent version for about $75 that I reported on a month ago. I would highly recommend and they true to size. Available in most Jantes retailers including sexy shoes dot com

I love the shoes. I have had good and bad experience (more good) with the quality of Steve Madden. Would love to get a pair myself but I normally wear a size 11. There are no Madden stores in my area and would go the online route. I have had their shoes fit when marked 10 before. Saudade what is your normal size and did these run true to that size? I typically wear womens 11 and always mens size 9. Thanks in advance.

The wedges are dull. Go with the first pair.

Got some new tall platform wedges. They're Steve Madden Xenon with a 5.5-inch heel and a 1.5 inch platform.

Nice looking wedges. Guessing you're size is fairly large as they seem to have a low lift for 5.5 inch height.

I had a pair of those but sold them before I started wearing heels myself. I sold them to a friend whom wears them at her office and has for the last 5 years. The shoes are still in great condition.

There are a couple of size 11's with a wide width in pink and fusha left if your interested.

In regular width, size 11, they have Black and Red Available. 543$USD isnt really a bad price at all!

Thanks, I have an account with sexy shoes, they sell other makes but I have found their own makes to be very reliable shoes. I have several 5" styles of theirs and all look, feel and fit great. They also are very sturdy. That style is currently on sale for $37

Those are sexy, so I went to Amazon to check them out. There is an incredible dark bue patent version as well. No size 11 or even anything bigger than 8 but alas I went the review section. There apparently is a serious flaw with those metal heels, they do not hold up, but man are they sexy. Of course no jackstands as I am like you and prefer normal soled shoes.

I purchase from them but remember them from years ago when they went by Leslie Shoes. They controlled their designs then and we're both much sexier with much better quality.

I have been wondering how long a man is 90's can last but somehow beyond all logic Spock, Ralph will figure out a way to last more than the normal 10. These are my true size 11. The solid b-w shoe boots due seem to run just a bit smaller so of the three you may be well swerved to add a half size (tough to do after 10.5)

That's a shame. I always purchase the hard soled shoes and try to stay away from the softer ones like these. Purchasing online though makes that difficult. The other problem with softer soles is they don't slide well when dancing and sometimes when just walking they'll grab and your ankle will always feel it. I really miss the old ultra hard soles from the 80's.

Update to my Pleaser oxfords I showed a bit back. As I mentioned then, the fit was perfect, my feet just want to live in these shoes forever. So I decided to explore 2 other styles of similar shoes from Pleaser. The result 2 additional fun loving and incredibly comfortable additions. The pictures are as follows, 1 black leather oxfords, white/black synthetic patent versions, and a ultra sexy cut out version. My favorites are the cut out version, wore them for about 8 hrs with shorts yesterday. Only around the yard but serveral of my neighbors were fortunate enough to see them in plain view. One minor nagative comment, the 2 toned solid shoes are a bit squeeky in the uppers as they arestill very new, hoping this will go away with some wear. Let me know which style you prefer the most.

Women's fashion often sells men's ware as a style. Not to burst any bubbles but that's a woman modeling a men's ware style not a man in heels.

DP Thanks, wore them most of the weekend and the fit just gets better. They have a spectator version as well that I ordered.

Bought these very sexy yet very comfortable shoe boots from Pleaser. Surprised because I usually shy away from Pleaser. They always run true to size but also always seem to have a bit of an odd feel to the fit. These however are extremely comfortable. They are listed to have a 5" heel but infact the heel is 4.75" which in my opinion makes them easier to wear. I did go public with them yesterday, no comments but it was obvious people noticed, The heel was about 1 inch below my pant line and the laces are so long that they also were visible, not to mention the vamps on these are very short. My foot fits all the way to within 1 inch of the tip. They are real leather, another rarity for Pleaser. I would highly reccomend these shoes, they are easily as well made as anything Aldo or Nine West make and better then Collin Stuart.
