  1. Hi Debbi. I love the styles you show in the other post. It's great hearing your story. I too live in NC and buy and wear heels publically all the time. Only one time did I ever get an unsolicited comment such as ours when a woman went out of her way to come up to me and say how much she loved my shoes. At the time i was wearing pair of 5" FOH basic pumps with jeans that covered about half the heel while shopping a BJ's wholesale club. I am sure this guy's day was really made by you and I'll bet he has no clue of this site. Thank you for him.

  2. I bought 4 pair from them. Three pumps and 1 boot. The paumps were 1 pairwith noraml heels, fit great and I wear them often. 2 pair of metal spike pumps, I still have them and wear them occasionally but they will destroy anything you walk on so be careful. I think the metal heeded shoes are a bit unstable as well. The boots were missized by two or three sizes. The quality is OK, like a Pleaser. The soles are thicker and the leather is lower qualtiy.

  3. why do women make a big deal of men wearing high heels.

Many years women have been complaining how difficult heels are to wear, we men should only have to know ourselves, all the while not thinking some us would actually dare even try. Now that some of us have and actually enjoy it. We also learned that only poor fitting heels hurt or if you know how to wear them there are really no issues.

Can't feel bad for those women who go through agony to please us men when we all now know they only do it for themselves. I do think some or even a majority of the complaints were really directed at getting a simpethetic reaction from us if for no other reason.

  4. The graph is perfect, I am in the level just left of you, fortunately, have no deisre to go further. Amanda is right, she's already does this for you and naturally you should for her too.

  5. As promised, the red and grey Italian Heels. The red shoes I have worn a lot, but I did get them from E-Bay and they were already worn a decent amount. I loved them so much I decided to treat myself, with my wife’s blessing, to a Christmas present and ordered the new shoes from Italian Heels. I would have never gotten the size correct had I not had the red ones. Normally I wear a size 41 but these are all 42. For US comparison, I wear a men’s size 9 and women’s size 11 with the occasionally miss-sized 10.

Now for the tragic news. My dog, Scoopie, ate my black shoes.

  6. Just got these heels from Italian Heels earlier this week. I got a second pair same style in a light gray. I will take some pics of them too ass soon as my camara batteries charge. I just love the look of a classic pump, they are Eurpean size 42 and the fit is tremendous. I have an older pair in red I got on ebay some time ago, I will show those too when the the batteries charge. Joe

  7. mlroseplant; I think this is a very positive step. Keep wearing them, once she realizes nobody really cares she'll get more comfortable. I was lucky, when I met my wife years ago I was already wearing my heels privately. I told of this immediately and she responded how hot she thought heels on men were based on rockers at the time often wearing them. I immdeiately went public and do so all the time with and without her now. Jimjn3: Sorry to hear this about your wife. Wish you good luck going foward.

  8. I went to our local Cato store for the 1st time (not the last) to get some last items for my Wife and purchased 3 heels on clearance. I went into the store with my relatively worn Carlos 4.5" pumps, 1st two pics. The shoes I purchased fit great. The 1st pair a blue patent pump with a 4.75" all day heel (i wear between 4 and 5 inch heels when no platform is present. The 2nd pair a black patent 4.75" heel. and finally a suede/patent comb 4" heel. I rolled may pants up a bit for a better shot of the shoes. The store is fantastic and the clearance prices are crazy low, $7.99 - $9.99 - $3.99 respectively. The quality is low, the fit is great, the look I love. If these hold up over time then I will not miss Bakers as much as I originally thought. Merry Christmas everyone, Joe :)

  9. I agree high arches definately help.I have high arches and have noticed that as a percentage just as meny men as women have high arches. I wear 4 to 4.5 inch heels all the time but like Debbie says, the shoe still must conform well to my arch or it will get tiresome and even painful to wear.

  10. I wore 4.5" spike stiletto boots to Phantom of the Opera a few years, my wife and I had front row seats. Show was fantastic. During intermittion I sat on the stage front looking back toward the audience, The stage was only about 4 feet off the floor as the stadium seating was sufficient for everyone to see the play. Not sure anyone noticed other the group next to us. The women could take her eyes off the heels but never said anything and i was polite not to interject.

  11. I have cruised several times while wearing heels in the evenings on the ships. Daytime and shore time, bathing suite or shorts, no shoes or sneakers, heels are just not very practical beach or amusment wear. People on cruises are way more open minded as they are also just there to relax and lose themselves in the fun of the vacation. Many of my best comments have been on board ship.

  12. I like all 3, not too much difference from one to the other. As far as street heeling with a beard, i do it all the time and I do it with thinner stiletto heels both shoes and boots. I also prefer "male" attire and never get any negative comments. There are always looks but these are more of puzzlement then any thing else. It's nice being 50'ish as I don't really concern myself with others thoughts. Get the pair you most want and go for it again.
