Bad assumption that the driver is a guy.

Love The 3rd pair
-
NIce looking, how do they fit?
-
Fortunately I am not looking for a quick way out of these.

Jeff like those pumps, the price is definately right.
Just arrived from Steve Madden.
First pair is their 4" DaNCEAWAY Ankle straps (real height in size 10 is 4.5"). These are a bit tight as again I bought size 10 for my 10.5-11 foot. I expect no issues breaking these in.
The second pair is called Doubtit. These i will have a hard taking off tonight. They fit like a true size 10.5 to 11 so no issues there. They are listed as 5" and do have a 3/8" internal platform. In size 10 the heels measure 5.4" so gotta like that.
Both shoes are leather, the Doubtit are better quality, reflected in the higher price.
I also went ahead and bought a second pair of the Invade style. These have broken in so well and both look and fit so great I had to have a spare pair for when the 1st pair wears out, if you haven't gotten them hurry up, they are being discontinued and I expect very few will ever make it to ebay. "Can you spare a square"
Happy heeling all, best wishes, Joe.

These are so much better than Jante's. Not sure but I expect these are 20 old. I was very lucky to land them.

Great story about the rusty nail. I would have been worried about bleeding in my shoes. Did they give you any bandages after cleaing out the wound?

Just got these classic Wild Pair off of the bay. These are older shoes and were in near perfect contion prior to my getting them. The soles had no scratches and the uppers had no wear stretch marks. These are rare shoes these days, the uppers are real leather, long since available from Wild Pair. Amazingly poorly listed as I get them and a second pair of shoes for 99 cents, and with shipping they cost less than $8. I've been wearing them for 2 days straight and they have already stretched to fit the form of my feet. I changed my avatar accordingly. i just love these shoes.

I agree. Best part is they don't even focus on his boots at all. I could have nothing to do with any of this God awful crap on TV these days but the more guys like this clown where heels the better for us.

That's how you'll see me too. Just wearing heels with my every day attire and in my case with a beard

Love the look of the spurs and the heels on those boots are to die for. Great look.

They are from Luichiny. I got them off ebay over a year ago. The mini platform requires attention. I have to reglue the back portion occasionly as it does not flex very well but all in all these are fun boots.

These boots are not new, but I never showed them here before. Just got back from the Home Depot after spending over an hour there getting supplies to finish up the remodel of a small bedroom. It was a lot of fun and I felt very comfortable as I have been there many times in heels. These ones however are the first truely spike stilettos I have worn in there. Many times in classic 5 inch pumps and boots but never with a obvious metal spike. The heel was very visible, easily 2" standing still and 4 inches or more when walking. Also the extral narrow platform was very visible. There were no comments and I only saw two guys with a smirk who were going into the store while I was tying the materials to my truck. Also stopped 2 different places for coffee. I did wear my tired old work close and will change into an old pair of "I don't care if I damage them" heels for the rest of the day to paint and install the new bamboo floor I got. By the way, I tested the bamboo with my micro spike stilettos with all my weight on my heels and no marks. Great stuff. Love the feel of free style. Joe

Wow! Haven't seen a heel THAT thin in quite some time. If that heel is metal, where do you go to get it repaired when it's damaged, a cobbler, or a welder?
They are tubes. I am thinking of using 8mm replacement tips for when the time comes. I can't seem to locate 5 or 6mm ones. I may even go with steel and then grind the diameter to size.

Just got these Stuart Weitzman's off e-bay. Incredibly cool feel to them. They are a bit tight in the vamp but should open up some with use. The heel is just shy of 5.75" and the hidden platform is near .75". These ran just over $100. The heel tips are very narrow and like with my narrow Steve Madden's I will need to find a tip replacement source. The tip diameter is 7mm. So far the smallest round tips I have seen for replacement purposes are 9mm. If any of you have a source you are aware of please share. Joe

I just recieved 2 more pair from Steven by Steve Madden. They are Alenah and feature 4.75 inch heels and a well disguised platform that brings the walking height to an easy all day 4.5 inch. I bought these at 10, agian thinking they will stretch. So far I did some yard work working both pair very hard on purpose. I think they will stetch, fingers crossed. I love sexy basic low cut heels and these fit the type very well. Sorry about the 1st picture, the sun was in my face. Joe

I will definately go back there but not for a while.

I thought I did follow the general theme of the thread. Sorry I mentioned how I part with them. I Did not link any sale or give my eBay name. Back to the point I spent several hours trying to weed down to the number I want to keep.

Have to love Hollywood. A person in her job would never be able to afford those shoes much less dare to wear them in bad locations. I remember her from her law and order days. The heels in the court room were always hot.
-
I am trying to cut down to 35 shoes and 15 boots. A tough process indeed, only which one's to keep and which one's to go. Ebay is my vehicle.

A bit of a follow up. The Invade's are definately the sexier of the two. I am amazed how easy they are to walk in at about 5.25". 5" has historically been my real limit, but these shoes are just right. The heel is foward enough but not too much that it is a near perfect balance, I noticed no drag of the tip with my step. Both shoes feature just the right amount of toe clevage and how sexy is that. The Darrts are stretching but as I guessed when I first got them they will take more use. I will have to replace both heel tips in short order. I have the assembled style steel tips that will work great on the Darrts but will have to search for a very narrow circular tip for the Invades (any help). I will buy plastic tips for them and just replace often if I have to. There are several more styles Madden has right now that are just amazing. I will postpone more purchases for awhile but can't get over the selection. They are reminding me of a bit more classier version of the old Wild Pair. They have not posted my reviews yet which is dissapointing, not sure how long it takes. I made it very clear I am a guy in heels, several other comments, especially for the Invade style I are men including some reccognizable names from here (I think).

Wow, those are awesome. Curious, how strong are the heels themselves? They appear to be a bit back on the shoe for an offbalance stance. I have had similar "heel back" pumps in the past and they almost always lean forward after a few wearings.
