I couldnt for the life of me work out why photos were not displaying.

I remember SSS from the first time around and remember how i wished i could have had a pair of the red /fuchia lace up 6in ankle boots he used to wear regulary on stage, but i was living at home at the time and there is no way i could have kept them a secret from my parents!! Of course now i could get a pair anytime i like now but i discovered many other styles of heels and they got put on the back burner.

Also Martin Degville had a pair of Zebra print high heel boots (2mins 40 secs) on when he was interviewed for a childrens TV program in the 80's by the actor who played Adrian Mole in an Army and Navy department store in London - surreal!!!

Found these on the official Sigue Sigue Sputnik web site. Two of the band wore heels namely lead singer Martin Degville and Guitarist Tony James, nice to see that nearly 20 years later they still do!!!

Her name is Natalia Mesa Bush aged 22 - comes from Spain (Tenerife - Canaries) and is 187cm or 6ft 1.5in so probably does have large feet maybe 9 or 10UK judging by their size. Cant find anything on the net to confirm it though.

Just seen the lead singer of the French entry, dressed in male attire definately wearing heels.Look like at least 3inch block heels. If i can get a capture later i'll put it up.

I have a pair of Fuss (http://www.fuss-schuhe.de/) thick heeled pumps that are worn on the inside toe. The sole has worn down to the leather but not the leather itself and is about 1 1/4 inches laterally along the edge. I love these pumps albeit starting to show signs of age, worn heeltaps and being slightly too big so am loathed to throw them out.

So can one of our shoecare experts ie Dr Shoe amongst other forum members be able to give us an opinion if they are repairable - I would prefer if the soles can be kept thin rather than be thick thus changing the look of the shoe (can the affected area be mended rather than the sole - as shoes are only worn indoors).

Also if they can be mended can one tell me if there is anywhere - like an online cobbler than i could get to undertake the repair for me (Should one exist and be UK based). I am not comfortable taking these to my local shoe repairer in person - they will clock on pretty quick they are mine due to their size!!

Love the Louboutins absolutely stunning. Unfortunately even if i could find a pair in my size (impossible) they would be out of my price range.

However.... i have found a Louboutin knock off made by the Highest heel which fits the bill for me size wise and budget. They go up to a size US14 and are available in Black Velvet, and Black Patent both with the distinctive Red sole and 5.25 in stiletto heel. I bought mine from Bananashoes for £45 and am over the moon with them.

Canada's CBC Network showed a documentary entirely devoted to high heels!!! Broadcast date was 11th January 2007.

It featured interviews with Manolo Blanhik (V Rare), Patrick Cox, and the CEO of Jimmy Choo - who's name escapes me. Also there was a segment about Foot Surgery - toe shortening etc. There was plenty of sightings of high heels as one would expect.

For those members who are not fortunate to live in Canada all is not lost as the documentary is available on bittorrent (P2P file share) on a number of sites - which is where i got my copy.

I've read She's a US11 (UK9 / EUR 43), the same as Paris Hilton apparently her sister.....who's christian name escapes me at the moment is a UK8 (US10 / EUR42).

Aisleyne was wearing a very nice pair of very high heeled knee high boots last night. Loads of chains and silver design all over them - cant find a picture though . Walked very well in them especialy when she was pushing Glynn on the Childs Tricycle while drunk. Sam doesnt seem to have any heels if the last couple of days are anythingto go by. I did hear her say that she took a size 8UK and didnt like them that big, on the first day she entered the house. BTW thought the shoes the girls were wearing when they had to dress up as geeks were really ugly, most of them being sandals with white socks. UGH!!!

Almost forgot this couple I spotted at the Louvre. Has anyone else seen this couple before? The two dark skinned guys were walking with them. Do you think the guy on the left in the trench coat is a body guard?

Yes i've seen them on a British program called Eurotrash.

They are called Eva and Adele or the Egghead Sisters. I think they come from Germany or Austria and are quite well known performance artist - though quite what they do I'm not sure.

They have a flash based website : www.evaadele.com but i didnt find it all that good, there may be better website which tells you more about them.

Well not the real ones (Prada Oklas I think they were called?) - they would cost me a small fortune even if i could get them in my size. No these beauties were considerably cheaper and fit me perfectly.

I have always wanted a pair of these ever since i saw them in a J-lo video a while ago. But for the reasons given above and also all the "Knock off" models i have seen not going up to my size they remained a distant dream ...that was until i saw these.

They are real leather in a powder blue suede with a 3.25 inch heel which is slightly smaller than the 4 inch heels on the originals. Size 12w US which fit my widish UK9 feet nicely. Unusually made by a US company called Valley Lane - which are not usually known for high fashion styles.

Won on Ebay with a snipe bid 10 secs from end of auction for $46 plus shipping (bargain!!).

Will be looking out for another pair in maybe a camel/beige or black but dont hold out hope as it took over 2 years to find these.

What do other forum members think and do they know of anywhere to get similar J-lo style boots in larger sizes.

BTW she looks very similar to our regular poster QOH/Gina, also i believe she is from Germany which is the domain country of the site that originally hosted that clip.

If you know how to use bittorrent then www.torrentbox.com has 12 videos by ZZ Top (do search on zz top) including Legs and Rough Boy.

The same site also has 8 videos by heel lover Sophie Ellis Bextor most of her in heels. You will need a fast connection because of the size of files. Also quality is not great but watchable as you can see from the caps.

When they first started selling larger/wider fit shoes their styles were very plain and dull. Now their range is a lot bigger and lots of their models are very fashionable and contemporary and wouldnt look out of place in shops like Faith etc. I have bought many pairs of Evans shoes over the past few years from ebay and my most recent purchases of a couple of pairs of ankle boots are really nice, very pleased with them. Here is one of the apirs below.

(havent struck up the courage yet to by them in Evans itself yet).

Just an observation... do you think people buy up all the large sized closeout shoes in the sales to flog on Ebay??? There seems to be an awful lot of them in the size 9 to 10 ranges on Ebay???

Here are some Caps of the boots/heels in question, not bad at all - nothing too outrageous, i'd wear them. Nice heel and square toe. Good for street heeling.

I've started noticing that Big Brother is getting a bit of a reputaton for Men in Heels - First there was Nadia then Kamal. Last night i watched the latest Celebrity Big Brother for the 1st time and saw Pete Burns (The former Dead or Alive frontman) wearing a pair of Light Tan Round Toe stiletto heels (they look like they have a design on the front that looks like a foot??? - check out pic closely), there was lots of clear views of them - it looked like they were too big for him as his feet seemed to come out of them a lot as he walked. He also wore a laced pair of heels when arriving at the house for the 1st time. I'm pretty sure he is wearing other heels but havent watched much more of BB yet.

Basically I have a contact in the States who has been buying lots of Payless boots and shoes on my behalf ( About 15 -20 pairs so far) and most recently some lovely boots from Fredericks for me which are on order. The deal is that I pay her a Finders fee of $10 per pair plus all costs Shipping (payless shipping to her and then postage to UK) plus paypal fees. It works for me but you might think that the additional costs might not make it financially viable. Depends if you want them badly enough i suppose. Worth considering if the other contact given to you doesnt come to anything. LMK if you are interested and i'll put you in touch if she's agreeable, but will have to be after the Christmas holidays.

I dont think so as I have spoken to Dr Shoe before and the sellers name was not the same, however the chap did have a Greek name which "could" tie in with the Little Shoe Box as the former proprietor was Greek AFAIK.

In anycase I have just bought a pair of nice mules from the same seller, and just happened to come across the Prince shoes as I was going through his Ebay feedback.
