  1. Mickey S,

Look out on Ebay USA, they have loads of sellers that have the current range of Payless shoes on their auctions, I have bought 3 pairs of payless shoes that are currently on their website at the moment. They tend to go for more than the price payless sells them for but with the weak dollar it makes the shipping costs a bit more bearable.

    They ones i bought were:

    Karla Green Size 12w

Klassic Boucle Sling - Pink Material size 13w

    Kerstin Mule Sz12W Black

I have also bought some payless boots of an ebay seller which were unusually for payless made from leather rather than synthetic materialand they were well made as well as looking stylish.

  2. They havea similar style of Moda slingbacks on Ebay but there is only a day left to run.

They are Topaz colour which is kind of Beige, they are in a Size 13M

The seller had them in black in this size a few weeks ago (Item # 5358779643) and Black Suede (item # 5359439238) I would have had them but was put of the cost of the shipping to UK. She has a lot of nice designer type shoes in larger sizes so might be worth keeping an eye on.

    Hope this help.

Here the link for the Moda Slingbacks: Item # 5360091396

  3. Well I certainly remember that Cat Woman and Bat Girl had nice Stiletto Ankle boots, a bit like pixie boots with a 2 -3 inch stiletto heel. If you get the chance to see the Original Batman Movie there is an excellent scene where you get 2 great close ups of Lee Merriweathers Ankle boots, its available on DVD by the way.

The Slings are made by www.italianheels.com

They go up to a size 45 EUR (12 /13US ??) but i think that you can get them custom made in 46 EUR (13 /14 US?) but they would obviously cost a lot more.

Model name is Nadia and is 83.25 Euro (Approx $111.00) upto size 45 if you want custom (Size 46) then cost is 132.55 Euro (Approx $ 176.00) plus shipping.

    Heres the link:

  5. AHHH bebop deluxe - one of my all time favorite bands, couldnt fail to notice the mules the girl in the cover was wearing when i bought my copy 20 years ago. Another band that seemed to feature high heels on some of their albums were The Cars. Check out the album Candy-o which features a girl reclining wearing a pair of black closed toe high heeled mules. Also on their greatest hits album they featured a foot with a red high heeled mary jane type shoe. Also many of their videos featured high heels.

  6. I've bought three pairs of these boots Two from the very trader mentioned in the ebay auction (roxycakes) A higher pair in black Sz11w for me, a short ankle pair for my wife also in black sz9w, i am also getting another short ankle pair for myself in black from another ebay trader as they appear to have a slightly higher heel. They are extremely comfortable and fairly well made considering the price. They run big so can accomodate a full size above that stated. If only they did the J-lo's in my size as I would rush to get a pair of those as well - heres hoping .

  7. I buy and sell my shoes on Ebay. Out of the 30 odd pairs of womens shoes /heels (Size 10UK) I have sold all but one have been to males. Although its quite possible that some of those were bought for a wife/ girlfriend who has a much larger than average foot it does seem to suggest to me that there are a lot of men who do wear heels / womens shoes. A trawl through the larger sizes 10 -12 also seem to suggest that most of the winning bidders are male (I look at what the buyers have previously bought via their feedback which gives a fair indication). Does anyone agree with me on this? Could it be likely that this indicates there a lot more males that like wearing heels out there? Your thoughts please.

  8. No problem mate - glad to have been able to help :D I got two pairs off Size 10's of ebay about 3 or 4 months ago but sadly for me being a Sz10 meant they were too tight - I was absolutely gutted as they were fantastic boots. :D Still they went to a good home as another forum member (Richie) bought them off me for what I paid and from what he told me - he was well chuffed. I think that Faith not only shouldnt have discontinued their 10's but should have extended it to UK11 !!!!! As they really are fine boots. I would have killed for a pair of Sabrina's that would have fitted me!!! Anyway glad you got them!!!

  9. Getting fetish heels in sizes UK9 and over is relatively easy these days, more conventional styles however require a bit more work. The vast majority of my streetheels are from Evans (about 25 pairs of shoes and boots) I have found many stylish and modern shoes and boots amongst the more dowdy styles, my weakness is heeled Ankle boots (especially pointed toe) which are amply catered for by Evans. Other brands I have bought are Barratts (Tall and Small), Vabenni (Shoe Taylor) and Kit / Shoebox (Catalogue and Argos Extra). More recently I have been buying heels from a couple of Ebay dealers in the US and have got Highlights and Impressions brand shoes which I think come under the Payless label. Do other bigfoots have any other sources of larger sized (9+) streetheels other than those i have mentioned. Please respond to my poll - Thanks. Answer all those applicable

  10. I've had a look on the net and I think it is only available on VHS and possibly Laserdisc (Not DVD).

Also I think it may have bombed according to one of the review headings on Rottentomatoes.com.....

"A bomb should have wiped out all the prints of this loser." :D

Its available on US Amazon.com in VHS.

Heres a couple of Ms Weaver in heels to be going on with tho' :(
