There's always Ebay! Be sure to check feedback for some indication of their reliability.

Schnubab,
Congrats on the progress. Baby steps are slow, but you are making progress.

Steve,
You might want to use a slightly larger font. I could barely see your web link!

Rockbass19, congrats! Glad to hear your envelope has expanded.

Great stories!!

P08C,
Maybe you should try baby steps. Perhaps wearing the shoes under boot cut jeans that cover the whole shoe first. Then as you get comfortable, you can "expand the envelope". As Eddie Murphy said in the first 48 hours movie, "..bull$@#* attitude and experience will tide us over..." Keep your head up and step confidently.

I second (third) that and would like to that you all for your encouragement, support, and understanding!

Lvemadomia,
You have been given a lot of advice and food for thought on this topic, and I have yer a few more "gems" to add. Before you talk to your mother (and father) about your shoe interest, ask yourself this, "...if they don't accept it, where would I go?". Remember you live at home, under their roof. If they don't agree with your habits, they may well say "GO!". Now, I admit that I (probably) don't know you or your parents, and you are the best one to judge how accepting they would/might be. But remember, it's still their house that you live in.
Best of luck to you!

I sometimes wonder if those problems are caused by ill fitting shoes. It seems that loose shoes, especially platforms would be very unstable and lead to moments like that. If the shoes were secure on her feet, it would be hard to flop around like that.

I kinda met one heeler through Ebay. His auctions sometimes mentioned that shoes male and female sizing. He is in the US and is a lurker on this board.

Very nice shoes!!

My next challenge is getting my significant other to be comfortable with my desire to "expand the envelope".

Nice outfit!

A lady wearing heels would get my attention (much like a pretty face), would help lead to an initial meeting/date. But that would not cause the second date. To go forward, there has to be something there, much more than shoes.

The extra cost is probably for the liability insurance (at least in the states).
What's Your Next Challenge Wearing Heels?
