Nice decor, though I'll bet most of us would rather have the shoes in the pics, than the pics!

When she asked if you buying heels for yourself, what did you say?  What was her mood and/or facial expression when the question was asked?  Seems like she already has an inkling and Halloween or not, it might be a good time to have that discussion.

When I was much younger and had discovered my feelings for heels, I felt like I was the only one out there.  A freak; weirdo!  One day I happened upon a book of R and X rated stories edited by one of the adult magazines.  They had stories about men who were turned on by high heels; by their partner wearing them during sex, "pleasuring themselves" while wearing heels, etc.

This brought a level of comfort to know that I wasn't the only one.  Now, it still wasn't common, but not all that unusual.

I guess this is something we all have to go through.

Dare I say, congratulations?  It sounds like you are on the way to some sort of common ground.  One thing that had been repeated on this board over and over again is to come clean to your significant other.  Let them know what you are all about.  If you don't, you run the risk of them thinking, "...if he hid this, what else i he hiding..."

While I don't believe "Caitlin" Jenner is a fool, it may have ignited the fears many (most?) women have about their men who proclaim to just wear heels.  That they may someday transition to full time CD/transgender.  

I think that's something we have to keep in the back of our minds, as I believe it's in the back of theirs.

I like them, but wish I could afford them!!

No need to apologize.  As was said, if you like them go for it.  One thing about walking in platforms, IMHO they are less forgiving that many other styles when walking on pebbles, cracks in the pavement, and other types of uneven terrain.

If you buy them, please post pics.
