Shafted

Is it darker in Maine than here? I rarely get out of town and we have lots of horrible yellow street lights that fill the sky. I read a thing not long ago about the prospect of the universe being infinite. It was to do with there being a finite number of ways youcan organise molecules, so an infinite universe must contain an infinite number of earths exactly the same - same teacup on the table, same faded dry flowers on the mantelpiece. It made me sad to think that there's an infinite number of Megans and that everything that's gone wrong for me is going wrong for them too. Interesting that it's only just occurred to me that all the things that went right are going right for them too. Somehow that doesn't seem to make up for it. I guess I'm no Pollyana.
