at9 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Boys were fascinated by high heels in a tough area of Glasgow in 1963: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/7586007.stm Not really sure where this belongs in the forum so mods, please feel free to move it if appropriate.

sendra45 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Here is as good a place as any, thanks for finding it. Nigel. The angels have the phonebox.
alba2000 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I saw that on the Scottish news tonight and thought it was class! You beat me to posting it here. They managed to interview one of the boys in the photo, now grown up obviously, and he was proud as could be at the statues.
alba2000 Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 If he does, he decided not to do so on national tv.
JeffB Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 A remarkable piece of sculpture. I like it a lot. I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
