CassieJ Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Well, I went to Lowes today and bought all the supplies (wearing 4" Boots) and here is the result...7 shelves, each 6 feet long. Truth be told, this is for my wife's 200+ pairs of heels and my 40. Here are the pics... Cassie - http://www.fetishforhighheels.com
Bubba136 Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 gosh, you've got as many pairs as Gina (almost) Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Shoeiee Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 NICE!!! "Heels aren't just for women anymore!!" Happy Heeling! Shoeiee
Guest Loveshiheels Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 You are a very luckly man to have a wife with a huge shoe collection.
Dr. Shoe Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I wish I could do that myself... no room though! Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
CassieJ Posted December 10, 2007 Author Posted December 10, 2007 Today, I added 2 more shelves as not all the shoes fit. I found I had left more space between shelves than needed and was able to insert 2 more (40 more pair of shoes). I also added 2-3 1/2 foot shelves on the end that are 2 feet deep to hold boots and the rest that wouldn't fit. There is also a hanging bar on the end for hanging clothes, like corsets and costumes. Halloween is our favorite holiday. Now that all the shoes are out on shelves (except about 15 pair in boxes as they are designer and very expensive) I will get an accurate count. My collection is 40 pair but 2 are worn out and need to go. My wife needs to go through her 200+ pair and get rid of about 20 that have had better days. I will post a new pic shortly with the additions... CJ Cassie - http://www.fetishforhighheels.com
