No one got left out at the door for not meeting the dress code at the 2007 meet and all attendees who made it had a great time. Granted there are other alternatives, but some people might not look "good enough" to satisfy the whimsical requirements of a bouncer. This is a great way to finish off the 3rd Annual World Heel Meet day and dinner......you can wear your wildest high heels and show the world that wild side! At the 2nd Annual World Heel Meet in march 2007, the Torture Garden Fetish Nite was an incredible experience for everyone that attended. This years Torture Garden visit will be to the TG Valentines Day Ball. According the CharlotteTG, a Managing Director of TG, "our Valentines Ball in February is one of the best TGs of the year…" and again, "Valentines is one of the best TGs of the year, without a doubt." These are the words of one of the organizers of TG. If anyone should know of a good event, she should. We have a positive confirmation from CharlotteTG that TG Valentines Day Ball will be held on Saturday, February 16th 2008 in London. Torture Garden hasn't officially announced the venue where the party will be held, but stay tuned to this thread for a specific announcement. Last year, CharlotteTG who is a member at hhplace.org, kindly explained the ticket buying process. The same standards will be in effect for the Valentines Day Ball in 2008 as well. Again, we will notify members of when to purchase their tickets. Since then I have visited as many parties as I could and enjoyed myself to the fullest. What I like the most is the possibility to dress as outrageous as you want and nobody, and I really mean nobody, rise an eyebrow in a negative way. If you have put together a good looking outfit you will likely get numerous positve comments instead. You should be aware that all these places have a dresscode. You can read TG's here: http://www.torturegarden.com/about (scroll down) And as they say, it is not necessary to buy something expensive in rubber or leather, the best outfits are often put together with the aid of good and lively imagination. Some members here, probably me too, will visit a store runned by TG staff on Friday. There you can get yourself an outfit, they will alter it too if necessary. If you have the idea but haven't managed to find the right stuff, a visit to Camden Town (an area in London) might be helpful. There you can find stores that carry everything from minimalistic sexy lingerie to medieval capes. And a seat in plain to Londen heathrow on thursday 14 feb and leaving on monday. So it's now defenitieve. The only thing missing is a bed in a hotel. I hope there is still room in the Euston Thistle hotel. And to share the room with a other no problem.
