I have added you to our growing list of probable attendees. where's this London meet gonna be? west end some place? will have to build up the courage.... however i live in SW19 so the journey isn't far for me! You don't have to wear heels there if you don't feel comfortable doing so. Bring some in a bag with you if may feel like changing later though. Added you to the list of probable attendees too. Secreto
I was up in the city yesterday. http://www.streetsensation.co.uk/ Always good to see what shops are where. As usual Oxofrd St & South Molton St are goos shoe shopping areas, but this site is very helpful. Camden, for a few "alternative" shoes (and Aldo Liquidation). I also want to whitechapel to go to Unze shoes http://www.unze.co.uk/ the most bejewelled shoes I've ever seen, that branch had about 6 pairs of boots in (cracking heels!). My only dissapointment was the sniggers and gilggles from the guy shop assistants. A woman served me and shooed them away - realising, I was about to leave. Very poor attitude. When woman get taller, their shoes will fit me better.
Fog
Hmmm Bejewelled shoes, sniggering male assistants. Steer clear - or go there mob handed.

kneehighs
Wooohooo! Heelfan has now come on board! Great! Now this meet will surely be a resounding success! Maybe a few other pms didn't go through either??? Guess that means I have some more work to do then. Heelfan--do you have contact with Firefox outside of this forum by chance? Perhaps you'd be so kind (or anyone with contact with Firefox) to ask him if he can make it to this meet? I tried calling his cell phone # posted from a meet about 6 months ago, but didn't get through to him. My only hope is that people will be sticking around long enough for me to meet everyone. Although you said you PMd all the UK members, no such PM has been received by me, so I wonder whether other might have failed to get through too(???). If so, it is particularly worth re-trying some of the usual keen Heel-Meet attenders: Nigel, Si, Firefox etc. and those who attended the recent Cardiff Heel-Meet in Wales - see that thread). Cheers, Heelfan Hi Heelfan, put me on the "may be" list. I'll give a definite answer at the end of the month. nice greetings micha The best fashion is your own fashion! Cheers, Heelfan Heelfan--Thats exactly how I started. Nigel gave a definite no. So did lorriette. Perhaps their schedules have changed since Mar 11th when the first bulk of pm's were sent out and I received their answers. I haven't heard back from Si...the others like Calv, Xaphod, FGWJON, Heel-D are confirmed attendees. After that, I sent out over 160 pm's all at once, which may perhaps explain why you didn't get the pm. I'll keep the first post in this thread updated with any additional expected attendees. As well, I'll subtract anyone who notifies me of a change in plans. micha You're added to the list of possible attendee's in the first post in this thread. I've got my fingers crossed, hoping you can make it! Reasonably Priced Hotel Accomodations If you are coming in from out of town, a good place to stay as recommended by Heelfan in the past is: Winrose Hotel, 24 Sussex Gardens, London W2 1UL. Bookings: Tel 0207 723 5656. (Single standard room + big breakfast - £35 per night = within $60!) and there is free parking on their small forecourt. Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. kneehighs
Just to let everyone know, I'll be bringing a DVD camcorder along for the meet. Its the kind of camera that you can record audio/video directly onto a DVD. This way, we'll have mini movie's of the World Heel Meet to share online and in DVD format once we find someone to make copies. Also, I want to put together an HHPLACE.ORG phone book, replete with cell, home and work phone numbers. That way we can have a current and updated contact list of members who like to attend heel meets handy for the future. Does anyone have contact with Beeblebrox from Sweden? Or Patrik who joined Firefox in Notting Hill back in 04? Or Lucy? Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game.
Heelfan
Hi Kneehighs! Yes, it's building up to a great Heel-Meet! A few notes: I've re-editted my suggested arrangements to include the new responders, and I've added Dr. Shoe's suggestion of the whole group meeting you at Waterloo Station. If you approve of my editted version, can you incorporate it into your main posting at the head of the thread? I agree that overseas members Beeblebrox and Patrik should be posted and also Robert from Holland (all very keen). I only know their basic contact details (as on the membership list), but Firefox tends to know more ways of contacting members. Keep trying Firefox via PMs or his mobile/cellophone 07941 172043 (or from overseas 0044 7941 172043). The Lucy Stories were written by me. All true real-life memories, but an amalgam of all events happening to my different high-heeled girlfriends, neighbours, my wife etc., all rolled into the one heroin - Lucy. Eventually, after 60+ stories, I was dramatically unmasked by various irate HH Place members having, very late one night when very tired, signed a Lucy Story "Heelfan"!!! Yes, it would be fantastic if Lucy really existed and could glide to the 13th May Heel-Meet in her 5 1/2" Alps stilettos! However, I'm proud to say that my daughter Melanie (Mel) aged 21 and proprietor of Peachy Shoes, Bristol regularly wears her 5 1/2" and 6" heels and has turned out to be the perfect real life Lucy - see photo on http://www.hhplace.org/hhboard/viewtopic.php?t=4640&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start... (but then click on p2) She is a member of the board as "Peachy". She's very interested in the Heel-Meet, but we have the problem of which one of us looks after the shop (store) that day. Anyway, back to topic . . . . . I (or Mel) look forward to seeing you and all the other heel enthusiasts on your World Heel-Meet, London on 13th May! Cheers, Heelfan Onwards and upwards! kneehighs
We have yet another addition to the list of possible attendees. euchrid just pm'd me indicating that May 13 seemed a long ways off, but that if the day was free when the time arrives, he would show up. Heelfan! In the same way you made a late night mistake with signing your lucy story with "Heelfan," I made the same late night mistake of bringing up that old topic last night at 2 am. Interesting stories nonetheless. With reference to Mel attending the meet, she could always join us after the store closes, no? There will be a late night group where we explore the London Soho Saturday night clubbing scene. Dr. Shoe Come in Tara mode by all means! Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game. Heelfan
To kneehighs: 1. Please update your possible attendees to include Peachy (Mel) and Tara (Dr. Shoe's altar ego). 2. Also on your main arrangements posting (top of p1), can you add each member being able to optionally stay on for a nice restaurant meal followed by pubbing-clubbing. (After a couple of Heelmeets, Firefox and I enjoyed ringside seats at Raymond's Revue Bar, Walker's Court, Soho - a stage show where some amazing heels were worn by the models, but last time we went, it was chained-up, but whether temporarily or permanently I don't know). 3. I editted-out my suggestion of the whole group meeting you at Waterloo. This will enable the main group to carry on shoe-shopping in central London whilst Xaphod, Calv and you meet-up at Waterloo and then catch up with the main group. To Dr. Shoe: It would be great foir the group to meet Tara in the flesh for the first time. Bring her on! Cheers, Heelfan Onwards and upwards! For anyone curious, Xa and I had previous arrangements to meet at Waterloo and in respect to our bi-lateral decision, I didn't want to appear as if I was over-riding it with a unilateral decision. i.e. I wanted to be loyal to my previous committment, until I heard back from Xa. kneehighs
Proposed RV 3 Dinner/Late Night Clubbing Proposed RV 3: Dinner/Late Night Clubbing Time 19:00 - 19:45 Place Too 2 Much 11-12 Walker's Court off Brewer Street, Soho W1F OED http://www.too2much.com Directions formerly Raymond's Revue Bar nearest Tube station: Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Sq. buses: 19, 38, N19, N38 Latecomers Ring Heelfan's mobile 07966 450583 I did some research on Raymonds Revue Bar and it looks like it no longer exists. However, the same location houses TOO 2 MUCH, where Time Out London says, "the bar girls may have gone, but the spirit of Raymond's lives on at Too 2 Much. The new owners have retained the red velour wallpaper and Bohemian crystal chandeliers, and glamorous hosts still greet punters at the door." Seems like a perfect place to end the day. They also offer very reasonably priced meals too: Mixed Olives with hommous and pita 5.00 Hot Pizza Sandwich 7.00 All burger types 8.00 martinies ranging from 6.50-7.50 As well, they have two levels: the main dance floor and entertainment area and the Revue bar with fetish inspired rubber furniture. They also have a Wednesday Night Trannyshack, which suggests they would be willing to accomodate a group of guys like ourselves. Admission according to Time Out London is 10 pounds. I'd be willing to make this our final RV point for the evening. Any feedback from other members? p.s. Nikk has confirmed that he might attend if he is not traveling for business!! Feminine Style .
