FRIDAY 7th OCTOBER 2005 Meet 10.30am - 11am (as in the past) in the upstairs of Starbucks Coffee House opposite exit No. 5 of Tottenham Court Road Tube Station and opposite Centre Point office tower. If anyone is delayed, please come anyway and ring my mobile 07966 450583 for the group's current whereabouts. Xaphod is definitely coming (it was his idea!) and suggests that the group includes Selfridge's Kinky Boots exhibition as part of the day's enjoyable shopping/eating/drinking/socialising. Friday is also the day that the Kinky Boots (men in heels) film is being premiered but I've yet to find out whether this is solely the Odean Leicester Square or cinemas everywhere. EXPECTED ATTENDERS: Xaphod, Me (Heelfan), Si and maybe Dr. Shoe. Also Fogborkenv (and maybe Thighboots II) at lunchtime, and HeelD + girlfriend in the afternoon. ALL GUYS AND GALS WELCOME! Going to see a film or two at the Raindance Festival (my girlfriend is up there for the week and I'm meeting her Friday) and have dinner (at Old Orleans as I have a 25% off voucher!). I was wondering when you were going to hold the next London heelmeet. The Kinky Boots exhibit does sound good. We will definitely take a look. Anyway hope you guys have fun. I will try to come to another meet in the near future. BTW - the 7th is Friday NOT Saturday. Saturday is the 8th. So is this Friday or Saturday? Members such as Mrs. Fogborkenv, Dr. Shoe's Ruth, and others have attended from time to time, and there'sa a chance that my daughter Melanie might treat us all to her 5 1/2" stiletto thighboots if she can find somebody to man Peachy /shoes for us on Friday. I realised this after I looked at another thread and realised the date was wrong. I tried editing my post last night after your correction and the server started playing up, so I gave up and decided to wait till this evening. Anyway, I've just spoken to my girlfriend tonight and she's cool with meeting you guys/gals with me for an hour or so. I won't be in London until mid-afternoon as I'm working in the morning. We should be able to fit you in for a little while before we go off and our own thing (meal, shops, cinema etc). I will take your number and contact you when we are in Central London.
