wheels
Most high heel shoe styles are available up to size 8UK. Some shops say this is euro 41 and some 42. I find that I can generally wear these without too much discomfort even though I normally take a size 9 1/2 (43). Sandals especially are easier to get on although the ankle straps can be a bit short. Mules are fine. (I can actually wear a pair of my wife's size 3 mules ). Whilst I wouldn't want to go on a five mile hike in shoes that are too small they are fine for just fooling around. genebujold
Fortunately, there are many stores that carry a decent selection of high heels in larger sizes, up to US 13 (UK 11, Euro 45, give or take a size).
hoverfly
Oh size dose matter, that is unless you want to turn your self in to a cripple in short time by jamming your feet into smaller sizes. Do your self a favor find some shoes that fit properly. Or get them stretched out if necessary if you foot is to wide but length is ok. Hello,  my name is Hoverfly. I’m a high heel addict…. hoverfly
During a break at work one day there was a discussion on whether size doses mater between a bunch of quys with one women lissening in. Finally at one point the women said " BullS&*T!! size does matter!!." That was the end of that discussion. Hello,  my name is Hoverfly. I’m a high heel addict…. Weeeeeeeeeee!  👠1998 to 2022! dressboots
Nothing "turns me off faster" than an uncomfortable pair of shoes. I won't, anymore, sacrifice comfort for style. Some of my high heeled boots are comfortable and some are not. I bought the latter for style but I bet you can guess which ones get more wear. A size 14 boot I guess I might be less choosy for comfort. There are a few more options at 12. Always heard that "size" does not matter as long as the user is skilled with what they have. classic style high heel boots
Dr. Shoe
There are two thigs in a high heeled boot that turns me on: Style and comfort. You can only get comfort from a proper fit. kromozome
for me aesthetic is very important. a feet wich is over a sandal (too small for the feet) is not very beautifull to see. so size is important. for me size 12us is ok to wear, but my feet is just a little over the sandal. so if i can if buy size 13. if not i prefer go without the shoes. wheels
What a great response The title of this thread was a bit tongue in cheek and intended to attract attention. I am extremely pleased that I do not have bigger feet. Taking on board some of the above comments, I am aware that there are specialist suppliers of heels and I have used many of them. However I find that generally they are expensive, the quality is not particularly good, styles and colours limited and the shoes are not especially comfortable. (something to do with the shape of the arches). Being able to select from shoes available on the high street is a great bonus. http://65.160.96.70/hhplace/images/1089629300 These are a size 8 with my size 9.5 feet. They are more comfortable than most of my correct size shoes and I don't think they look all that bad. If you are a size 9 or 9.5 I think it is well worth looking at smaller sizes to get a better variety. Heelfan
Size matters enormously - it is vital. Wheels' foot looks very nearly OK in that sandal. All the experienced shoe-buyers on these Forums know that size varies enormously from one brand to another. I suspect that Wheels unsuspectingly found a brand that is running large and virtually fits him, but this one lucky instance should not lead anyone to believe that this proves that size doesn't matter. If this sandals were from a brand thathappened to run medium or small, his feet and toes would certailny know all about it! Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards! genebujold
What a great response The title of this thread was a bit tongue in cheek and intended to attract attention. And it did! I know we have a few "stores for larger heels" threads out there, but... Since the vast majority of traditional models peak at size 10 or 11 US, I'd like to see is a new Forum under the Marketplace section entitled, "Size 12 and Up!" Just four rules: 1. One thread per store! 2. The first thread would have to include a URL to the store as the first line and nothing else. 3. The title of the thread would have to be the proper name of the store (eg Nordstroms). 4. The store would have to offer at least one shoe, size 12 US or larger, with a heel that is at least 2 inches high. I chose 2 inches because that's the highest "acceptable" man's shoe on the market today (sans platform) in the form of the 2 inch cuban heel, and I figure it would be a good transition point. Subsequent posts can be about whatever anyone wants (subjec to the rules of the board). And you know why I'm making this recommendation here? Because size matters! wheels
I have had them about three weeks. I bought them because they remind me of a pair my wife had, of which I have fond memories,(the shoes I mean ) about twenty years ago. They only come in grey with either a pink or silver leaf and trim. You can find them at the riverisland.co.uk website. Here is another view of them.
