Robert
Wow! They look great! Wide toebox! Are you going to wear these outside? What about the colour, What are you going to wear with them? And in what colours? Robert Boots, fascinating footwear http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i103/Boots_1956/
youngwolf
I may wear them outside since the blade will make things alot easier, not got the chance of going over them as much as my normal ones. The colour and material isn't much of a problem, since I'm a goth it makes things much more better to work with for clothing. A pair of black leatherette trousers, my black t-shirt with blue wolf print and my 3/4 length leather jacket. And if you's are lucky I'll do a photo of me with my makeup aswell. youngwolf
Heyho all. Well they arrived this morning (parcel deilvery round here is damn fast, they only got posted yesterday and arrived here at 8:15). The material is rather nice, kind of a nice feeling on me feets when I'm wearing them. They're in good condition and the heels are only scuffed a small amount...nothing that can't be worked with. The soles are are abit scuffed too but apart from that they're very good. I'll get some piccys taken and get them posted ASAP We are what we are, let nothing stand in our way in what we do
Dawn HH
Youngwolf:-) I will be looking forward to seeing some pics of your new boots, preferably with you in them, so we can see how they look on you, if possible. micha
Youngwolf, you are a lucky guy with a size of UK 7 :-) I love crazy colours like lilac or pink. And you got them for 4.99 Pounds ? The postage was even more! I just got from Ebay a pair of pink 4.5'' JLO boots in the style of converse chucks. Even in US 11 still too small for me. Now I'm wearing them with ski socks, because of stretching Here a pic micha The best fashion is your own fashion!
chris100575
Well, I've never been one for square toes, but they're a wonderful colour! All but two pairs of my heels are black. I still regret not buying the purple snake-effect stiletto knee boots I saw a couple of years ago! Chris
youngwolf
heyho all, Nice boots micha, the postage was about the same as the boots but since it was first class that didn't bother me. Well some news for you all anyway...I'll be taking some photygrits of me in my kit tomorrow morning and posting them on here after I've got them sorted out. And yes Dawn they'll be full length shots of me and I won't blur out my face either. youngwolf
Morning All, Well here we are, me and my heels in my kit my first heels, the ones my mate kinda hinted at me to buy since he has a pair too. I have a plan to change these alittle too. 4 inch heel - no platform The Second pair I got at Whitby, quite comfortable though I'd have wanted a higher instep. 4 3/4 inch heel - 1.5 inch platform And the newest pair, my purple boots, these are really comfortable and very easy to walk in (or I've just had alot of practice). Very comfortable insides and good lining. 4 inch heel - no platform ALL of these are a size 7 female UK. Hope you's enjoy what your seeing We are what we are, let nothing stand in our way in what we do
genebujold
Good! The purple ones are distinctive, but I like the topmost ones the most, for numerous reasons I've stated elsewhere. BTW, I did a double-take at your two bottom-most pics, as they appeared to be identical except for the heels. It wasn't until I counted the tiles on the roof to the stage-left of your head that I accepted they're different pics, not doctored pics!
Bubba136
I like the look. Heels look natural. Actually, very decent. You shouldn't get any adverse reaction to wearing them dressed that way. Even with the purple heels. What sort of reaction have you educed when wearing them? (gb - Also, the bag of fertilizer, on the left size of the pictures, aren't in exactly the same place, either.) Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Mickey S.
Wow, that looks cool. I guess the heels in the topmost pic won't draw much attention at all. I personally like them but I do like the shoes on the middle pic even a bit more. I'd say - although the shoes are quite cool as well - that the purple color on the 3rd pic is somehow eyecatching. Anyway, I'd like to know what comments you've encountered after you've tried them in 'real' puplic or in case you've actually done it already, what did 'they' say? youngwolf
Hiho all, To answer the oldest question and to be very honest about the situation. I wore these while I was in my back garden. I do definatly intend on wearing the purple and platform boots when I next go over to Whitby for a few days/nights. I'll wear them at night to see how the nightlife react. Even with me saying that I'm not affraid to go out into the backgarden during the day to deal with my stationary engine or just the garden, frell lifes to short not to live it as far as you want to. I'm going over to the moding forum to talk about a modification I'm planning on doing for my first pair just to make them more unique than they already are. Thanks for the great comments so far though We are what we are, let nothing stand in our way in what we do
shyguy
The overall effect looks great, the heels really work well in all the pics. He was so narrow minded he could see through a keyhole with both eyes. Dawn HH
Youngwolf:-) Thank you for answering my question and showing us all your full length pics. They show a very handsome young fellow with a very concerned look on his face. How about a little smile? Your boots fit very well with your leather coat and trousers and you shouldn't have any problems wearing them in public in daylight doing some street-heeling. It's loads of fun and if you haven't done any you should try it. I too, like the other posters would like to know the reaction of the public and if they said anything. Especially about the purple boots as they stand out a bit. Please let us know and keep us posted. BTW---who took the pics for you---one of your parents? Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever! youngwolf
Hiho, Well theres a small problem on the street heeling around this area...we have what some may know as townies in Darlington and to be honest most of the north is filled with them. I know it may not sound like much but when townies see goths they tend to get alittle anti about it. If they saw one wearing heels they're more liable to do a little more than just shout abuse, more rather inflict it. Hence why I'm going to wear them when I'm next in Whitby, a place thats a haven for all goths of all kinds and were I can dress is stockings and suspenders if I wished and noone would do a damn thing, sure they'd look at me in strange manners but that'd be all. The camera was placed on a makeshift tripod, namely the guinnie pig run turned on it's end, and the camera set on a timer. Thanks again to all for the positive comments. Dawn HH
Youngwolf:-) It sounds as if you might have to tippy-toe in your heels in your neighborhood. By all means do enjoy your street-heeling in Whitby. Your signature says it all very well and makes for an excellent signature. Well chosen. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
Heelfan
Hello Wolf! Great outfit and great footwear - a very good street-heeling combination! Don't worry too much about the townies - most areas of the UK have got yobbos to a greater or lesser extent, and in 47 years of continuous street-heeling I've only had one scarey incident, and even that didn't result in any violence but only a few menacing bits of playacting. As Xaphod posted, that was my fault for wearing my 4 1/2" blades at pub closing time in Bristol City Centre too close to a whole crowd of beered-up yobbos looking for trouble with anyone or anybody. I'm surprised that you are talking about darkness for your debut, because I find it works the other way round. Darkness is when most of the townies are likely to be beered-up, whereas daytime in a busy, bustling respectable shopping street is the best situation for most of us to street-heel and intergrate into the community without any problems whatsoever. As Dawn says, don't look so concerned, cheer up, give us all a smile, and keep that smile firmly there on your face when you stride out into the great British public! Confidence and assurance work wonders for "carrying it off", whereas if any of us skulk around looking nervous and furtive, our body language immediately arouses attention and possible hostility. Oh, and howzabout coming to one or both of our forthcoming Heel-Meets, where you would immediately relax into like-minded and friendly company with some security in numbers. Leicester is on Sat 12th June and London will be sometime in the week commencing Monday 28th June - see "Real Life Meetings". It would be great to see you (and any other UK members) at one or more of these fun days of shoe shopping /eating/socialising! Good luck with everything! Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!

youngwolf
All I'll ask is one thing...how the hell did you know I was part scot?!! truth is I had a rather strange upbringing. I'll give you a quicky to my life Born: Germany 1985 (UKForces Hospital) Moved: Ireland 1986 Moved: UK 1987 Moved: Ireland 1988 Father left Army: 1989 Scotland: 1989 Darlington: 1993 And I've been here ever since...me be an army brat. I'm more prouder of my scot side than I am my English side (since my father was english and 2 years ago him and my mum got divorced [wehey]) though I've got a small amount of Irish in me too, again from my fathers side. Night time in Whitby is actualy the quietist time, especialy at around 1 or 2 in the morning. Though I might be able to get away with it if I wear my dog collar to cover my adams apple and wear my motorcycle cutoff jacket to act as a 'corset' so the ones looking for trouble may think I'm female. Oh it is fun having a father who was badged S.A.S. in Ireland...those of you who are ex-british armed forces will know what I'm on about and in what I'm implying the situation to. good lord this topic is gonna get the my highest number of posts inside a month at this rate. sscotty727
Youngwolf, The look DEFINITELY suits you, you look great in the heels, very natural. Actually you look like you are ready to walk onto a set of Highlander, you would be a natural for the part too (if you posed with a sword wearing th same outfit you could do a publicity photo for the movie or series). I wish I could pull off the look as well. My wife is a MAJOR fan of the Highlander look and LOVES Scotland and the scotish accent. She hopes to go there someday, we shall see. (BTW, I am German/Irish). Congrats on your purchase and have fun wearing them. Forget anyone that things you look strange, they are probably more jealous than upset. new_look
well done for posting full pics, most aret that brave. i think you shouldnt have many problems with a goth outfit. Many people accept that although its a little different, its anything goes, usually in black. lol. In rotherham, its a little like you said, where people look for excuses to carry out abuse rather than shout it. Sometimes a group of goths about 3 or 4 of them are outside the bank, and one bloke wears these full platform heels, about 3 or 4 inches, def not male shoes and v exposed... and noone bats an eyelid. Id feel much more afraid in normal dress and stilettos than dressed like you in the pictures. go do it mate. like heelfan said, you could tag onto a heelmeet. im trying to encourage takers for a mini london meet not set for 1st june if you might be interested? daz

Robert
Dawn HH, Thank you for pointing me out that the boots were not blue but purple. Still they look great on Youngwolf. Recently I've bought a pair of ankleboots at BigShoes in Italy because I have size 9.5 - 10 UK or 11.5 - 12 US, also in a conspicuous colour and I wanted to know how Youngwolf dress himself when he go out in public. These are my new boots with 2 1/2 inch heels for comparison.
