Jean Gaborit boots?

Recommended Posts

Finally going to go the "custom" route and have some boots made for me. Does anyone have any experience with Jean Gaborit?

That question comes up again and again.

You can search the forum for comments by people who are Gaborit customers.

Here are a couple:

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Arollo, if that's your style https://www.overknee-stiefel.net/

Thanks. Didn't occur to me to search it.

As noted above I have several pairs of their otk and vintage boots. Love 'em. Beautifully made.

For me In my humble opinion the best web of boots by variety of styles and more special designs is charlotte-luxury.com. But it is a little expensive although the boots that I have from this website are my favorite

Questions for anyone in the US who has ordered custom boots from Jean Gaborit...

Did you receive a notification e-mail along with a tracking number when the boots were shipped?

If so, how soon after notification was delivery made and through what courier?

Thanks :)

I can't speak for US orders but when I ordered their boots (from Britain) I received a tracking number via email and delivery was made very promptly - a day or two from France. I can't remember which courier company - might have been Fedex, but Im not sure.  I would imagine things would be similar for US orders, although with the greater distance involved and customs clearance it might take a bit longer.

Their boots are really nice, by the way...
