mtnsofheels
I just noticed last night that Wolford has added a Men section on their Online store which displays 8 pairs of tights/pantyhose. While we have always had the availability to buy whatever we want this marketing is a new avenue for pantyhose to the male consumer. This is very good move for added confidence for all men to wear pantyhose as a regular fashion item. See link to their website.http://www.wolfordshop.com/men Our member Steve has been marketing pantyhose for men for years now under, http://www.glieberman.com/ this is a move by a larger European company which sells in North America to men's specific interests and needs. This is awesome for us who enjoy wearing them! I also posted this in the General Fashion section, more info there.
Steve63130
In the forum Legwear as Unisex Fashion (LAUF), similar to this one, guys discuss all sorts of things about sheer pantyhose, opaque tights, stockings, leggings and other legwear. In the late 1990s Wolford, a high-end manufacturer in Austria, introduced opaque footed tights for men, with a conventional fly opening. We quickly saw the opportunity, and in 1999, my company introduced sheer pantyhose and opaque tights for men, and have been selling them successfully for 17 years now, online at www.glieberman.com. In the 2000s, Wolford withdrew from the men's market, probably because they were disappointed it was so small, but Gerbe, an upscale French company stepped in with several different styles for men. Rather than compete with them, we collaborated with them to be their distributor, and we were very successful, but the products were so expensive they didn't sell too quickly, and after a few years Gerbe left the men's market, too. Now that Wolford seems to have returned, maybe Gerbe will, too! Other companies, such as Berkshire in the US, and Adrian in Poland, Emilio Cavallini in Italy, and one or two others have also tested the men's market with mixed success, but we've been in the business longer than anyone except Wolford. One other comment. We're going through a transition right now. Two of our major suppliers went out of business in 2015 and our inventory isn't getting replenished. We're out of stock in many styles, colors, and sizes. This will soon change as we have a new supplier in North Carolina who has agreed to work with us to develop many new styles and help us create more offerings. We are also working to re-invent our website at www.glieberman.com. If you enjoy wearing legwear, you owe it to yourself to try ours. When it's made for men, it fits better and is much more comfortable. It's also more durable and lasts longer. Steve

HappyinHeels
All, Glad to see more companies recognizing our market. I would also encourage those in the USA and Canada to buy products made in North America. The path to rebuilding our factories and filling them with American and Canadian workers who use American and Canadian equipment starts here. A simple act repeated in everything you do will make such a difference. Get that loading dock ready for more orders Steve! HappyinHeels
