heelguy Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I guess i'm lucky that im not in that larger size category, i would cry if i wasn't able to buy off the shelf! Soo much more variety and choice!
KneeHighOnly Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Ditto, like Comfy Loafer, I can get my size on the high street.
heelguy Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Ditto, like Comfy Loafer, I can get my size on the high street. my name is not comfy loafer, it's heelguy... "newbie"
HHeeler Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Pricey. Many of these shoes in those sizes can be found for much less elsewhere.
Dr. Shoe Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 my name is not comfy loafer, it's heelguy... "newbie" Indeed. The name is in the grey bar along the top of the post. The thing above the avatar is a post rank. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Steve63130 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 (edited) Dr. Shoe, Right after we went to this new forum format, I went to my profile and easily changed my post rank to Steve, the same as my name. I didn't care for Uggs, or Barefoot or whatever it was that I was given. But I went back to my profile tonight and couldn't figure out how I changed it. Did the moderators subsequently modify this feature so it's not user configurable any more, or did I somehow miss how to do it? If it's still user configurable, then I would encourage users to change the label to something they like, like their real first name. If it's not user configurable, I wonder if the mods can just delete it. It really does confuse a lot of people, apparently, who think that post rank is the user name; they just don't see the real user name in the gray field above. And in reality the post rank doesn't serve any useful purpose. It's rather demeaning, I think. So I would strongly encourage the mods to let the user use the field as the user's real name if possible. Steve Edited June 19, 2012 by Steve63130
meganiwish Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Yes, Steve, this has been discussed in some detail elsewhere. I was too dense to work how to change mine in time. I'm sure it'll work out in the end.
Steve63130 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Ok, thanks Megan. I'll search for the discussion. Love your avatar! Is it a real photo of you? LOL Just kidding. Steve
ilikekicks Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 I kinda dont like the stipulation of their advertisement : At Shoes Of Hollywood we support the Gay and Cross Dresser Community. We Believe all Men who Love High Heel Need to fight for Fashion Freedom. Men have a Right to Wear High Heels and People Must Accept This. We can supply up to a Size 17 Womans which is a Size 15 Mens in Many Brands. You will be offered a personalized Private Service. Dont be Shy come see the Gay Cross Dresser Specialists for your Sexy High Heel Shoes Or Boots email us for Help. Gay? Umm.. havent tried that one yet, maybe someday? Cross Dresser? I havent decorated a Crucifix with Jesus on it lately. Fight for Fashion Freedom? I already have that freedom, so does every other guy I know. So do the ladies for that matter. I dont know of anyone who wishes to tell me I cant wear whatever I want on my feet without looking a bit low on the mental scale. What I do wonder, is what kind of ' Personalized ' or ' Private Service ' they speak of. My other half might not be too keen on such *I* understand their message, no problems from me, but from how it sounds.. they arent trying to project their sales to a wide audience, just a small segment of consumers. -ILK REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.
FreshinHeels Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 You're right there Ilikekicks. Makes ye wonder what add they would have used to get woman to wear throusers.. In the process of becoming the person I always was...but didn't dare to let her come out
