ilikekicks
Good article in general, but the statement is made that gay men like to wear heels. I don't think there's any evidence to support that statement. It's a common misconception. I would be willing to wager that most of the men on this site are ' straight ' or ' heterosexual '. Of those, half are married and the other half is either with a current female partner or on the look for one. I know a bunch of gay men and none of them are really attracted to much of anything feminine let alone them wanting to put on a pair of heels and go strutting about. Sure, theres a small segment of ' gay males ' that wear heels but Im willing to bet by numbers alone theres more heterosexual males out there wearing heels or womans footware then homosexual males. REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.
meganiwish
A good number of the gay men I've known have been male to the point of tediousness. Oh, how much better a man(straight or gay) who knows his female side. (Why isn't there yin yan sign available? (.s.) No, doesn't work.) Equally, a woman who knows her male side. When more people know themselves we'll finally get away from stereotype
Guest
I think heels = gay has popped up before on other threads. I think the general feeling/conclusion that it is a minority and that gay guys are looking for maleness not female attributes or styling. Having said that, thinking of the stepdaughters male friends, one could have starred in Legally Blond with ease. Al

Cavaliers in the 17th century with flowing locks, Gauls with plaited hair. We're all the same animal and the difference between the sexes is not always as great as we see it. Or as important. Tacchi Alti
One more. http://angelap.hubpages.com/hub/Men-in-Heels The video certainly shows a great variety of dress - and prowess in wearing heels! Good on them, though, for wearing them, even if some of them couldn't keep their knees anything like straight. I've seen that with quite a few women, though, and often when they're wearing heels only around three inches. 'Come, and trip it as ye go On the light fantastic toe.'
