It allows us to connect with other like minded people, share stories, bounce ideas off on and other. Its really great. But something is missing. We believe that ignoring the sexual side of wearing heels for men and women is getting totally ignored. I realize that walking the line between kink and fashion can be tricky. But I believe, like many others here, that this site and the sexual nature topic are worthy of a subforum. Sure there are those here that wear or want to wear heels for fashion. But there are many others that wear them just because it turns them on. I'm not suggesting turning this into a porn type site. I'm just asking for a subform to address the nature of our "Altocalciphilia" At the very least you should offer a poll to the members and allow everyone to vote and see if its something them memebers here want. This way you can see yourself how it evolves without damage to the work of hhplace moderators. I am sure you have already read lots of forums on the topic your are speaking about, I don't think it is necessary to include this in "safe" forums. Indeed, as you know there are lots of problems to avoid sado masochists' posts and spams. I have seen at least 30 threads and forums being "infected" in France, i don't think a single one of them is still free of that content. And the result is always the same : the discussions lose every bit of intelligence and are replaced with posts with insane pictures. Other guys are fleeing, any other topics are left down, and the threads / forum dies or is closed by the moderators. I am sure the moderators here don't have time to deal with more sexual content than the actual members and the internet already try to throw at them. And furthermore, should you succeed on your forum to make it a nice and good tasted place, then you can try to come back to hhplace and be enroled... ! If however you want a website full of people exposing their private sex lives around heels, then go for it, but you will have to pay for every single thing, because a lot of advertising will not be open to you at all. There used t be a fetish section here, but even that got abused over and over and over again, and resulted in almost having the advertising plug pulled from us, and that just barely covers the cost of running this place, so if you have very deep pockets and a LOT of time on your hands to babysit the morons that will invade it and constantly post highly unsuitable content repeatedly, then great, go for it.... chris100575 Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 I agree with Tech, the fetish section used to get overrun with unsuitable content including links to porn sites, pictures showing things you really didn't want to see, and some very explicit writings. Guest Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 It isn't just down to lack of maturity, as Tech quoted, "almost having the advertising plug pulled" because the advertisers didn't approve and having an income to support us is very welcome, donations help but I doubt it covers a quarter of the running costs. I'm sure we ALL have (early days) or do "turn on" or feel so much more confident and frisky that the obvious comes about however there are many many visitors to the forums some casual, inadvertent, curious and downright deviants that would far rather get their kicks out of reading the posts or others throwing extreme and abusive posts into the forums.
